i just watched the trailer, and correct me if I am wrong, but does it portray his childhood home as a terrace house? I lived in Stoke and he lived in a comfortable semi.
Great review! The movie is Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Whether you know Robbie or not, you will love this movie! A movie that is an emotional bomb. 10000/10, 5 stars, truly one level above all others! A must! ☆☆☆☆☆
I knew Robbie only through the Better Man song while I was going through a divorce in 2010. I wanted to see the movie but my expectations were low. The first five minute with the monkey were sticky, but then I settled in for a marvelous ride. What a creative, imaginative, unique and wonderful piece of work!
How come Brits pronounce "biopic" as though it rhymes with "myopic," rather than as the compound word/portmanteau it clearly is: "bio pic"? (Well, two Brits, anyway, assuming that this reviewer is British; I heard Robbie say it the same way.)
Unfortunately he ripped off too many songs to be considered original work. Which actually goes perfect because he’s been accused of stealing American music his entire life. Fortunately 🇺🇸 caught it early and disqualified him before he could make money on Jim Croces song. This will ensure it will flop in the 🇺🇸. We have a guy just like Robbie Williams, who steals music and makes it sound like it’s from a Pepsi commercial. His name is vanilla ice.
Maybe it's was something personal for you to cry so much... singing chimpanzee was no good for me... tears only at the last scene... movie is good, but not even close to Rocketman or Bohemian Rhapsody...

Why with such a glowing review do you rate it only at 8.5?
8.5 is a really good score
I enjoyed this film,
