"I don't have confidence; everything I"ve done is bravery." Paraphrased, but so many gems in this interview! Glad to have been a fan, and see Robbie get more, with this movie.
I have never seen someone in an interview enable Robbie to analyse himself at the same time as offering the opportunity for reflection to the interviewer. This was a triumph of an interview and the space and time given to the answers without interruption is astounding. I hope you give yourself some appreciation of your gift of communication, making someone feel comfortable to answer difficult questions and the attention and effort put into the research prior to the interview. Exceptional
Great interview. Love Robbie Williams, will definitely go see the movie now. Saw Guy Chambers in my hometown last year. Listening to Robbie's songs on piano was an amazing experience too.
One of the best interviews I’ve seen. Great questions. Great conversation. Well done. Rob has an incredible ability to articulate his emotions and feelings, and especially to self analyze in a deep way that resonates with everyone. I wish more people in America knew his music and his incredible talent and songwriting.
The best line of questions and great answers, over here in the UK, most interviewers ask the same questions and dont think of new ways and new ones to ask.
What a great interview. Nice to see such an enthusiastic and passionate interviewer, brilliant conversation. Robbie seems to really be trying to continue to be a better human. Awesome movie too.
“I’m alive and I’m thriving, good job” indeed. Wonderful interview, I love seeing him smile so much and seeing him so relaxed. It really is like, this is the best possible outcome his life could’ve taken, and I’m so happy for him. Also, Something Beautiful might be in the setlists now?? Oh hell yeah, I love that song! ❤
Wow as am American fan of Robbie Williams I'm so happy that the best interview I've seen so far of him aroud this movie is by an American! Seriously, the way these questions are asked, your responses to them and the back and forth here is incredible. Really really well done, he is an absolutely fascinating person but most interviews just asked the same stale questions. Thank you for getting deeper with him and staying away from the typical!
I LOVE ROBBIE ❤ He can be totally proud that he's alive after everything he's been through. ❤ The movie is amazing! A really puch in the stomach. Emotinally it broke me and it so relatable! I've watched the movie 3 times already and love it! 5☆ from me. Great interview! I can't wait to watch it again. It's a different feelings every watch. Ps: can't wait for the tour next year! Already got my ticket! I would loveeee to hear Something Beautiful live 😍😍😍
Robbie you are amazing. You must believe in yourself. You are stronger than you will ever realise, we all realise when it is too late. Do not let that happen to you, live in this moment. Do not persecute yourself. Remember those who mind don't matter. Let go of your demons be strong and truly believe in you 🙏
I've been a fan of Rob since his Take That days and watched him growing up. There have been so many interviews with him regarding Better Man... all the questions have been the same. "Why the monkey?" "The Regent Street Performance..." "What kind of advice did you give Jonno..." Glad to see those weren't the main questions here. Thanks for making this one of the most unique and introspective interviews he's done these past few months. You did our boy from Stoke justice! Great job!
Amazing interview. I am old …I remember him being in TT, I remember him leaving TT and releasing his first solo track - cover of George Michael’s Freedom. Low budget video shot on an island holiday or something and then epic big ticket productions like Millenium. Etc. watching him “grow up” and bring us decades of music despite all the trials and tribulations and now inspiring a new generation and barely even recognising as he does it. Legend.
I was a big fan of Robbie's in the late Take That days (fun fact - HE said that he actually bought MY record in 1994.) He was always a force of chaos, but he's grown up so much in recent years.
Also I commented the above about 5 mins in and didn’t realise how deep and honest some of the interview was going to be. Hats off to Robbie, I love some of the answers he gave. What a lovely and fascinating talk 💙
What a breath of fresh air this interview is - asked all the right questions in such an engaging manner. It shows that if you're interested in your subject and you do your research you get the best of your interviewee. I think Robbie wouldn't take being asked stupid questions, and why should he? Loved Better Man - needs to be watched a few times I think, so you can re-watch the bits where you were wiping your eyes with a tissue the first time round. With regards to his new teeth, they seem a perfect fit. Maybe he should give out the name of his orthodontist to some other celebrities who have had truly awful dentistry that makes them look like their teeth no longer fit their mouth (Dennis Waterman comes to mind).
I feel like I wasn't kind on Better Man when I watched it, I was looking for something different and got annoyed and wasn't there for the landing. Might be better on a rewatch... The one missed opportunity I still feel strongly about is the movie not building up to my unconditional favorite Robbie Williams song "Lost", the saddest song in the world when you're there and a good turning point before current voice-over Robbie could take us to what he uniquely got to learn from this journey or something (a famous Jim Carrey quote comes to mind), instead of doubling down in the end. Oh well, that's out of my system, rewatching it someday

I’m happy Robbie exposed Gary 🤣 the media said Robbie left the band ! When Gary kicked him out
He forgot Toy Story
Porky's??? Oh, Rob....
You know that's every teenage boy's coming of age film - well, the ones born in the 70s/80s
@donnacoulson7173 Unfortunately.
SORRY NOT A GOOD FILM
It’s better than Joker 2 at least
It is not good - it's FANTASTIC MASTERPIECE and you can't change nothing about it...
