Hello! I orderd Insignia, Grand Sport, Edition with automatic gearbox. So i realy like your review. About the buton what folds the mirors (from in side the car), I have it on my Beugeot 407 manufactured on year 2006. And also here is information about Vauxhalls logo: Vauxhall logo has a long history of origin like other car logos. From a reference, the griffin emblem, which is still in use, is derived from the coat of arms of Falkes de Breauté, a mercenary soldier who was granted the Manor of Luton for services to King John in the thirteenth century. The house he built, Fulk’s Hall, became known in time as Vauxhall. Like other car logos, Vauxhall Iron Works adopted this emblem to emphasize its links to the local area. Another is the shape of Vauxhall logo that was used to be square, but it is now circular to fit in the same recess with the Opel emblem. Vauxhall car logo was redesigned and released nine times since the 1920s like other car logos did. The new Vauxhall car logos encapsulate fresh design and technology for the company in its 100years of legacy.
I found this video really helpful. I will get mine Insignia 2017 model, same 1.5 petrol engine in next few days. So I know what to expect now. 😉 Thanks once again.
@Waj Ali Hi. Urban is usually 26-27mpg, but the difference on motorway is huge as can be 45-48. It's a really big car so I was really surprised that motorway mpg is so good. I drive a lot (15-16k per year) but it's mostly urban, with 1-2 long trips to Europe when I do 6-7k in 3 weeks of holiday. At the end of the day, I really like this car with 1.5 petrol turbo engine, it's really comfortable. 👍
@@ernesthartung8946 hmm mpg sounds a bit low for a new tech car? would it be worth to sell my 2.0TDI Audi A6 Black Edition Ultra and buy 2018 or 2019 1.5 Petrol Insignia? I wanna go back to petrol car, Regards.
@@sametoruc1347If I was you I would consider insignia 2.0i turbo petrol engine with 4wd. Mpg is only little bit worse than 1.5 engine but it's really fast, drives superb with 4wd and it's always fully loaded with heated seats front and rear and so on. Regards 👊
In Australia this car is sold as a Holden Commodore ( Buick Regal in the U.S.A ) My wife has the VXR version which in Australia has a 3.6 ltr V6 with 9 speed auto and AWD !! Standard is 235 kw but hers has the optional Walkinshaw Performance Upgrade with 275 kw !! It's quite a nice car and has decent power ...... a small engine in it would make it an absolute slouch !! Thankgod for the V6 !! 😁
@@dominikfcbsousaoutnow5948 Umm .... yes , fully aware of that fact . Opel was owned by GM for almost 100 yrs from memory .... now Opel is owned by PSA ... fully aware of who owns who in the automotive world thankyou . 😁
wow . 325bhp mate . what a car the vxr is . ive got the Insignia Grand Sport 1.5T SRi Vx-line Nav 5dr Auto at 165bhp and thats more than awesome so your wife must feel like she's sat in a rocket 🙂
Have the car and the headroom in the back i awfull. I'M 183CM, AND MY HEAD WOULD BE THREW THE ROOF IF I COULD SIT UP STRAIGHT ATCALL, THE BOOT IS AWFULL AS WELL, OTHERWISE A VERY VERY GOOD CAR.
Well equipped and not too bad looking, but sounds shit, has fook all guts and needs it's tits revving off to make it go! Plus economy is shit at 31mpg when driven like a vicar! Currently got one as a courtesy car, for that it's perfect! Not at all desirable thought! Anonymous!
I wouldn’t call this a review, just you demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge about the car and messing around. I take it this is a rental car from the unleaded sticker on the dash? So at least that explains your lack of knowledge on it. Btw remote global closing is certainly not a new feature, my old Omega from 2002 had it and I know Rover cars had it in the 90’s. Having said all that I don’t want to be mean, the video does have some entertainment value.
Now that's what I call a review. Enlightening with a bit of humour.
I'm 18 and I've owned a Vauxhall insignia at 17 to 18. now at 18 I'm getting one of these in a few days. top review, didn't want it to end
How much was your insurance on your first insignia? That is what is making me reluctant from getting it as my first car.
I am thinking of buying one of these cars and this has been the most helpful review I have seen - well done
Do not buy one they are awful mainly if you have to deal with Vauxhall they are the most un professional
@@robertcollins9795 what makes them awaful?as i'm thining of getting one myself soon. any heads up would be much appreciated!
Good video! .... The logo is called a 'griffin'
Thank you Steve :)
Great video! 👌The owners review is the best! 👍 This is the perfect car made by Opel !
I think that was a great in-depth review - thank you .
