The song is a masterpiece. The orchestra gives it a sublime quality. London Grammar needs to have real orchestras in all their songs. Nothing replaces humans playing real instruments. It's expression of the soul.

I never comment on songs, I have done it twice here. This may very well be one of the best tracks ever recorded. Ever. This version is perfection. Can anyone honestly say they have only listened once? It is like an unshakable narcotic dragging you back inexorably to its potent brilliance time and time again. The Bond-like finish with the outrageous brass section is overwhelming as it builds to a huge climax then leaves you with a gentle piano. Genius.

This is a great song. I had to listen to it twice, then I was completely hooked. I see myself driving with the windows down singing this at the top of my voice.
To the people offended by the f bomb. I don’t love that either. But it’s a song about anguish and pain. Sometimes that word fits where no other would.

Agreed. That line really couldn't be written any other way and have the same impact or flow. It's not like she threw it in there unnecessarily. In the context of the lyrics, it absolutely belongs.

Io non mi stanco mai di risentire questo brano meraviglioso! Lei è semplicemente meravigliosa e l'orchestra aggiunge il tocco in più che trasforma un brano strepitoso in leggendario!!! (I never get tired of hearing this wonderful song! She is simply wonderful and the orchestra adds the extra touch that transforms an amazing song into legendary !!!)

Just wow! I think they should do an entire live with this kind of orchestral arrangements! All of their songs would be AMAZING. So pure, powerful and inspiring. I've been listening to them since 2014 and would really love to see them live one day. Hannah's voice is unreal 😍 🎵

No Brian, no. This - if music can capture it - is what a kick in the stomach (betrayal) feels like; it's visceral, eternally wounding and brutal. Anyone who tells you anything else has not lived long enough, or been favoured by God. It's authentic, if raw and unvarnished.
