The one in the beanie is Taeyong the leader NCT127 and NCT as a whole, he is also one of NCT's main dancers along with the guy in the yellow top his name is Ten, they have a song with just the 2 of them called Baby Don't Stop. You'd also be shocked to know that TAEYONG has no dancing background and was a terrible dancer, the only reason why he passed his audition in SM ENTERTAINMENT and became their trainee was just due to his handsome look nothing more nothing less, he was so terrible at dancing that one of his trainers flat out gave up on him and was told he would never ever see the stage, look at him now he is the leader of his group and one of its main dancers and is the one monitoring their practices.
Just goes to show people that if you are terrible at dancing don't mean you're a terrible dancer.
What you need is hard work and dedication to improve.
The results is in your hands.
It’s essentially just about learning co ordination
@@xiaouiris Exactly, this is what I also tell people when they are conscious or afraid of being a bad dancer.
@@JaeMinJung. I’m glad you do! It’s true- anyone can dance!
theres 23 members in nct i think all of them are great dancers
This is one of my favourite choreos in kpop since first time I saw it. Apart from the movements what really impressed me about this was the transitions and how the members switched places, those moments still felt like part of the choreo.. In kpop choreo sometimes the transitions are like members just running to their next position and it breaks the flow for me but it is also understandable as they try to balance the choreo with the singing and also allow each member to be on the spotlight.. Hard task to do with perfect transitions each time..
Very accurate evaluation of Mark as a dancer 😌
NCT is known for their good dancing skills and insanely detailed, sharp and powerful choreos. I also love that they don't dance perfectly in sync. You can see that everyone has their own style to dance the same dance moves. If there was a dance unit, you can put literally anyone from 23 members in it. They're all insane 😅 But still Ten, Taeyong, Shotaro and Jisung are probably the best dancers.
According to the 127 members, the hardest NCT dance is NCT 127 debut 'Firetruck'. There is also NCT Dream's debut song 'Chewing Gum' and they danced it with hoover boards 😬
Adding those!!!
This is still one of my favourite debuts in K-pop! I think you would enjoy watching Ten (short hair/yellow shirt). He is the main dancer of WayV, NCT, and SuperM. He has such raw natural talent in so many styles. I recommend his solo- Dream in a Dream (practice) because his lines and fluidity are insane!
Just came from your SuperM reaction... so I'll point out that three of these members are also in SuperM - Taeyong (beanie), Ten (yellow shirt) & Mark (footwork guy). T7S is actually considered one of the harder choreos in kpop... not so much the moves themselves or that very little of it repeats, but the vibe. There have been many covers of it, but VERY few actually get it right. The 7th Sense was NCT's debut... it was (and still is) very different from anything else in the kpop realm. The eerie feel to the music, the costumes, the choreo... not to mention a boy group debuting with a slower tempo song, is almost unheard of... but that's at the heart of the NCT brand, always be pushing the boundaries.
The simplest, most basic way to explain NCT system is this; *NCT (Neo Culture Technology)* is an unlimited group under the *SM Entertainment* label. Currently, there are 23 members, but more members/units will be added in the future at some point (for instance, a new Japanese unit is on the immediate horizon). The current members are typically split into 3 *fixed* member units *(NCT 127, NCT Dream & WayV),* where the member lineups normally do not change... and 1 *non-fixed* member unit *(NCT U),* where any number and/or combination of the 23 members can be on any given track, just depending on who fits that particular concept best. Think of it as the mix 'n' match unit, the U stands for United. We typically only see this unit during special all-member album eras though, of which there have been 3 of in the 6 years they've been active and each is capped off by an all-member mv... so no need to worry about being overwhelmed by all of them all the time, as it's a rare occurrence.... but if you'd like to see them all together; the mv's are; NCT 2018 - Black On Black (only 18 members at the time), NCT 2020-Resonance (23 members) and NCT 2021-Beautiful (21 members, two were on hiatus). side note... Resonance is a 4 song mashup and can seem a bit confusing without knowing that.
Some recommends;
*NCT U* - Universe (Let's Play Ball)
*NCT 127* - Kick It
*NCT Dream* - Hello Future
*WayV* - Moonwalk
(another side note: in case it hasn't been explained, WayV is the Chinese unit... while they live and train in South Korea, they mainly promote in China... unfortunately due to political tensions between the two countries, in order to operate there SM had to create the appearance of separation from the NCT brand and were not able to carry the same moniker among other things, but that's the biggest one... had they been able to, they would have been called NCT Vision, as it stands though WayV is an acronym for We Are Your Vision. They are still every bit a part of NCT though.)
This comment was super helpful! Thanks for taking the time to explain! I’ll add your recommendations to the list! 💖
@@xiaouiris if you let me I would add NCTU 90's love, you can't leave out 90's love. Also thanx for your reaction
You finally got to NCT 🌞 You will have a lot of fun checking them out, they have so many great dancers that have their own unique style.
Safe to say that NCT is probably the best group when it comes to dancing.
I’m excited! 💖
You should react to taeyong’s ghost. It’s a song that he realeased that bada lee choreographed with him.
More NCT....all units pls.
Bull's eye about the footwork guy, it's really (one of) his strongest points. The other being his shoulders. He was 16 here so he had some physical growing up to do, new things to learn and new styles to adopt
These are the 5 Kings that debuted what NCT would represent, Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Ten. NCT as a whole is a dance crew, not just vocalists/rappers. The way they were trained by people like Tony Testa and The Sh*tKingz shows the styling of Hip-hop/B-boy influences. Strong dancers, balanced indeed. The pause on Taeyong, the beanie, was spot on. The units have great choreography and I hope you check them out, even ones with all 18/23 members.
Love that you noticed Jaehyun, he frequently gets overlooked when it comes to his dancing but he has stood out to me in MANY of their practices and MVs
this is their debut mv 2016! wonderful
Best hard choreo
Yea I see how you could see them as being on the same level considering they all put a lot of time into the chereo so no one is really lacking, however if you were to get into the group more you'd probably start to see the disparity in dancing ability between members. Like for example the one in the yellow, the one in the beanie and the one with the cap have main dancer positions out of the 23 members(meaning they're the highest tier). The guy you commented on regarding his fluidity Jaehyun is a lead dancer so not quite the same tier as the main guys but he's also a standout amongst the group. Other one with the orange hair is probably towards the bottom out of the 23 members in terms of dancing but is a main vocalist, some would argue he's the best out of the 23 members at that but he's for sure top 2.
I LOVE THIS CHOREO!!!
Choreography by s**t kingz.(Japanese dance and performance troupe)
I hope You will do react to more NCT.. NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV.. thank You
Thank you so much for reacting to this! Yeah I think they did pull the best dancers with this for sure. You should check out Taeyong's solo video th-cam.com/video/8G8oRulwm20/w-d-xo.html it's really interesting!
MYTHOLOGY thrives in some fandoms that "lee taeyong was a hopelessly terrible dancer" and that he was "only cast for his looks" is promoted in certain SuperM circles as a back handed compliment insinuating that (unlike THEIR idol) Taeyong had no REAL talent "he was just handsome & worked very hard" I won't say rivals stans INTEND to be so dismissive of Taeyong's seemingly limitless potential but THAT repeated notion is simply patronizing to one of the MOST exceptional idols to ever pass through the doors of SMentertainment.

(*during THIS his necklace broke, he spotted it on the stage, swooped it up & put it in his pocket)
The FACT is that the founding father of Kpop selected a promising youngster to be The Pillar of NCT. Lee Sooman built his entire 18 original idol NCTfranchise around Leader Taeyong.
Taeyong was STREET cast at his high school by astute SM scouts who had to come back for several tries to even GET taeyong to audition. When he did, SMs producer (who had identified TOP Kpop idols for 25 years) signed Lee Taeyong on sight. And NOT as a MODEL with a mere pretty face. He cast a future Kpop Idol.
Taeyong adequately sung the Korean National Anthem and did a few popping moves and THAT was ENOUGH for SM evaluators to assess him (it's what they DO) It was obvious to SM staff (and to fans in his earliest brooding beguiling rookie appearances) that even in his teens Taeyong HAD a magnetic stage persona dripping with charisma and the KIND of TALENT that shows up about once in a generation of performers, The Next Kpop Bowie or Korean Prince.

Taeyong was not a BAD dancer he was a NON dancer, not a tone deaf but an UNTRAINED singer. I think as a choreographer you appreciate that difference. Taeyong has since said that, looking back on his demanding & difficult SM education, he had misunderstood his teachers when they called him "a blank sheet of paper" (what they MEANT was that, though he had no performance skills, he also had NONE of the BAD singing dancing acting HABITS that more experienced idol prospects must UNlearn)
Taeyong's inexperience would not worry Lee Sooman who would see his blank slate as a plus. NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology (the foolproof SM TRAINING SYSTEM that LSM had developed over decades to turn out ALL those top tier SMidols. And IF, in a few short years, SM coaches could get him READY to debut with NCT127 and to LEAD as the FACE of the entire NCTfranchise, Lee Taeyong would prove to BE the perfect embodiment of LSMs elegant SMIdols & success of Neo Culture Technology training

So the REAL concern staff had with rookie taeyong was that cast in his late teens he might be...too old...to start SMs intensive performance training. Male Korean idols have only a few years to establish their fame & fanbase before mandatory military service interrupts their career. His teachers worried that he had TOO much to learn it might not be POSSIBLE to bring Taeyong up to speed for his NCT127 debut in just a few years. TIME not talent was in short supply.
But Taeyong stubbornly ROSE to SMs challenge, He did not just...improve...he EVOLVED beyond all expectations into the superstar idol, respected role model & inspirational mentor of all 23+ members of the NCTfranchise.

Taeyongs mastery should be cause for celebrity but sadly...rival factions...deeply resent undermine & are to determined to break the Spirit of Taeyong for succeeding...too well.

Ah, thank you for reacting to 7th Sense - a performance video I really love! I would love a reaction to Baby Don't Stop ( NCT U - Ten and Taeyong) - there are lots of performance videos available of this and a dance practice, but I do like this one: th-cam.com/video/_ASnJyMgQDM/w-d-xo.html
Jimin (BTS) is the leader... and perhaps the Prince Charming.
