This is actually one of the hardest chorography of kpop especially in a survival idol show, a lot of trainees avoid this song because the choreo it's very hard and the vocals and the rap is so unique that you need to have that courage to cover this song. One of the best debut song ever.
Actually it’s not that the choreo was very hard but rather it was the whole vibe of the song that was hard to give out during the performance. This is the type of song that cld either turn out super cool or become a disaster if their vibe doesn’t match.
@@anniewei23 agree with this. Almost all NCT choreo is not that hard for dancer but the uniq of their choreo especially this one is the vibe.. if you are not good, you gonna look awkward

Ten wasn’t a vocalist AT ALL then. He’s always been the dance king he is, but in this song he raps a little. He developed his vocal abilities much later. Low vocals are sung by Taeyong. Mid-high vocals are sung by Jaehyun, and just a bit by Mark (Mark’s voice was slightly higher then, since he was 16 y/o). Higher vocals and most high ad libs are Doyoung’s.
No lie but he remains my favourite vocalist in nct u. His range is not high at all,but there’s really something soothing, sexy and kinda rich in the way he sings .
You know what's even cooler, the reverse version of this song. They performed it once (but with 127) on the award show and it's really really mind-blowing. This song is really a masterpiece

The best Kpop debut. NCT's debut: Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Ten. The 5 Kings used to help build NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV. They came out the gate with no smoke and mirrors. Minimalistic, here is our talent, take it or leave it. Organic. Every debut I now judge based on their performance. This is a performance where you can't hide. You either have "IT" or you don't. This song is one of the hardest song to cover Because it doesn't have exact character It's not cute, not sexy, not love And the Choreography have unusual sequences and it changes everytime
7th sense is GOLD! A MASTERPIECE! NCT did that!! One of the most hardest choreo and if someone will cover this, they have to bring justice to the original!
But his vocals weren't that good at that time, he was mainly a dancer, not a vocal. Look at him now ! He worked so hard and improved so much ! One thing NCT and SM teach us, hard work pay. I still can't believe Jaehyun was recruted for his look and had never sing or dance before, same for Taeyong...
People grow and improve, they're good now doesn't mean they're good before.. just like how Taemin didn't have a single line in their debut song but becoming one of shinee main/lead vocalists, at least SM notice their improvement and let them having more significant lines according to their skills
@@serqsdps yes ! Everybody blame SM for the line distribution but look at NCT 127's last album. Jungwoo, Johnny, Yuta improved so much and same go for their lines. So, yeah, their improvements are noticed. And we don't know what the future will be for them. Like you said, Taemin was the weakest vocalist in Shinee and he was the 1rst male soloist to debut in SM ! Or Hyohyeon, who could have said that she will become the most successfull soloist in GG, after Taeyeon !
i know everyone replied to you but i also want to add that the agency (any agency) and their trainers know their artist's voice best, hence why some line distributions are heavily biased. Either they are vocally superior or they match the vibe of the song. Johnny improved immensely, hence the sudden increase in his lines. Everglow's adios and dun dun are an example of how a song can only match few people due to mia having majority lines. The rest of the members tried her lines but they didn't match, hence the gap in line distribution.

Better late than never listen to this song😃. I surprised myself when first heard this song.. because it's just toooo amazing as a debut song. And nobody can copy that choreo. It is called the most difficult choreo in KPop
The song that majority of the trainees from idol survival shows avoided because it's too hard to be perform. From the soft and rich vocals, to a crisp and delicious rapping, and lastly, the flawless choreography make this song as one of the trainees' nightmare. They wouldn't want to be compared to the original performers aka Taeyong, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun and Mark. The only regrettable thing about this song is Ten got so little part. I assumed it's because at that time he's not that fluent in Korean and also because he had yet to improve his vocal skills or it's SM who simply hated him lol
