Some very interesting Roman history. You do such a wonderful job Irena. I'm so glad your channel came to me. I love learning from you. Wish I could watch these documentaries over and over again. I noticed more damaged noses, this time not in Egypt! I'm moving backwards on your channel, so cant wait to watch the previous video, maybe later if I get the chance. You are awesome AncientSitesGirl 🧡🧡🧡
The monuments on Via Appia were reconstructed, unfortunately, most of these sculptures have fallen, of course, noses get the most in this case 😕 I've been there twice, I miss Rome
I have walked the Appian Way, Irina....it is, without doubt, the most incredible portrayal in which the Roman peoples venerated their forebears, & actually the most logical placement in preventing cross contamination within a 'living' environment; in spite of any quasi socio-religious edict, someone clearly comprehended viral & bacterial transmission - even if they did not have a specific name for these differing pathologies at the time. From a Physician's perspective, it is fascinating....Thank you for taking me back to where I once walked, Andrew 🙂
All roads lead to Rome. A very important reason for the long history of their success. They really did build the first super highways. I had to watch twice, I was distracted by the beauty of the tree's 😊 it's funny, I watched a "historical" video about Middle Earth ( Lord of The Rings), and then watched your wonderful episode of actual history 🤣 Thanks for another great episode! 🤘😁🖖🇨🇦❤️
India, once India include Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mynmar, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand etc. But with the passage of time declined and seized to present day. Hope, futuristic India would be double of present day India.
@@ancientsitesgirl you are welcome. We have snow capped high hills, beautiful gorges, fertile plains, desert, platue, dense forests, rivers, beaches, long sea shores, Lions, tigers, unique temples and what not.
