Warning: history lesson coming. Shashlyk comes from the Zaporozhian Cossacks of the Dnieper Rapids area. The stick is called a verchenoye. Shashlyk translates to “skewerable”. Shish Kebab is Turkish and means “meat on a stick.” Most common veggies to be found used are whole cherry tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. But in Germany they have a shashlick called “Shashlick Hawai'i”, yup has pork, bell peppers, onions and how else pineapple. It's served with rice & curry sauce. I love almost any form of shashlick, especially those with beef and bacon simmered in a paprika sauce. Your shrimp sound pretty good & easy to do. Just my nearest Foodland is at least 2500 miles away.

Its best to spray the non stick spray before placing the rack on the grill. With that said, another recipe i want to try! Mahalo nui loa!
Great tip! Thanks
I recommend using some tumbleweed or all natural firestarter squares instead of that charcoal. Nonetheless, the shrimp look amazing
