    An amazing forgotten track from the 80s. Killer guitar. There was more of it then, but everyone remembers only Sandra in the pool from those times. Fashion's previous guitarist (Dave Harris) recorded an album with Rick Wright in '84 as a duo Zee.

    I am disappointed that this has only achieved 10k views. This was one of the greatest live BBC performances. Especially Alan Darby's guitar solo. Such a great guitarist.

      You are absolutely right @Bruce Lee Fan; I have this on VHS and often have to rake through my notes to find which tape it's on and the band's name (I usually think Visage, oops).
      Of course, I tried to find who he is but he never appeared in any Fashion line-up I looked at (for obvious reasons).
      I've heard several versions of the original and there's a huge vacuum in the middle where Alan should come in ;)
      Excellent solo composition which fits in with the mood, perfectly.
      So, anyone on guitar forums, link to this video -- they'll give you kudos for it.
      Thanks to @live80tube for uploading.

    amazing guitar solo! I've always loved hard rock guitar over a funk backing.

    Only the remainder of the band and Dee himself will know why he left. I saw them live with Dee, and again with Darby during the Eye Talk period, and I prefer the Harris period.

      Yup, exactly the same experience and outcome. Harris was an amazing frontman, guitarist, singer and strutter!

    @khorrumg They should have stuck with Dee Harris, they had a good start with this and "Streetplayer" but it seems didn't manage to build on it, losing Harris was a bad move.

      It was David "Dee" Harris who walked away!!!

    • @duncansmith8992
      @duncansmith8992 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think Dee walked away for ‘personal’ reasons. He was the brains of the band I recall, so that was the end of the songwriting. This version is my favourite, great guitar solo.
