@@dcpwebdesigners Have you a video on removing unwanted comments from a youtube video. Let me evplain further, I have down loaded a video pertaining to an artist singing their song. Below the video come the originator of the video (just likeyou would put DCP Web Designers etc) the title of the video and the comments received of which I dont really want. All I'm after is the artist and song. Can you help please.
@@michaelvickery463 only option is to overlay some content on what you want to hide... Like a graphic message or logo or general image.

TY kindly for your help - IMO it was a bit longer than it should have been for the basics but nonetheless I appreciate you taking the time because I know everyone learns at a different pace. Looking forward to diving in more to your published tutorials and learning the more advanced methods of this software. Currently transitioning from Corel to Magix so it's a bit of a learning curve. Two questions if you don't mind: 1. Magix claims to have improved the real time preview capability with their new "Infusion Engine". Do you notice any improvement in that regard--e.g. playing back the timeline with multiple effects applied being smoother or generally easier to work with overall?
Secondly, they mention a new "Split and Trim" feature, but that it works on the timeline. My previous software (serif MoviePlus) had a multi-trim feature that allowed me to create multiple sub-clips from a longer clip. The sub-clips appeared under the source clip and made it very easy to organize my content for editing. MEP has always lacked any kind of clip organizing tool. Does this new feature help in that regard? If I have to use the timeline for their Split and Trim feature, are the subclips kept off the timeline somewhere to name and organize as needed?

Hi, thanks, to be honest I use magix for editing my TH-cam videos so nothing too complex and works fine for me, the clips which are cut stay on the time line, I would suggest you download a trial and see if it works for you... Thanks...

I have used Photodex's Proshow Producer for the last five years. Now that they are closing out, I was looking for an alternative, especially since I have added drone footage to my still photography (and some smart phone video too). After a fair amount of research, I settled on Magix Movie Pro Premium as giving me all of the tools I would need at a very fair price. Your TH-cam video was one of the best starting instructional tutorials I have seen. Thank you for putting this together. I am looking forward to more. One question I have (and it may be demonstrated in another video) is that I do mostly still photography, so I'd like to see a demo oh how to work those images into the final product.

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Very good. I have a question, how different is this software from the vegas? Vegas freezes a lot and I am thinking on switching to magix pro. Do you have any recommendations? FYI I got vegas 14.
Sorry I have not used Vegas before. You can download magic trial I think and test before you buy. I have edited over 500 TH-cam videos without any issues.....

How can lock (or unlock) all images or videos together m so you can move / slide them all together. I think this was called ripple function on movie studio 17.

Not sure if there is a short cut I will have to test, but I normally select multiple content by holding down the shift key and left clicking the content I want to move in bulk or drag mouse to highlight select content

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it and that not make any difference. All my videos are showing up unsaturated (not sure if that's the right word). All is fine on my computer but viewing in the app or importing into project changes ALL of them. I've tried a few different movie settings and no difference. The film is 1280 x 720 29.65 in the file properties.
Try to use handbrake to re-encode video

Can we move the title position?? I mean words new york,america we want it to be at the lower ..not in the center...is the any option for that?
Yes you can, you need to make your own custom title and then position where ever you like

When I'm ready to burn my movie to Blu-Ray, there is no option to output it to 1080p 60. Is this feature missing or I am doing something wrong? Thanks.
Honestly I have never used this software to burn a Blu-ray ... Sorry... Try checking the help menu

I've about had it with Magix. I've been having extremely flaky problems with slips disappearing. Meaning, they are in the timeline, you see them in the timeline, but they don't show up in the video preview. It's happened with clips, stills, every kind of asset. I think MEP 2020 from Magix is just plain buggy. Has anyone else seen this?

If I was to purchase 2020 version -- how obsolete would it be when 2025+ ??? Could I still use it without having the latest updates? Does that make sense -- or would I have to purchase the newest update every year? Thanks -- I really like how you explain things and I'm very visual so this helped alot.
I would say the software should be ok for a few years before you need to upgrade to latest version

I've already am doing the 6 day trial and I'm just trying to figure out how to pause it so I can edit content without me having to start from the beginning. None of the videos you show shows how to do that because there is not actual talking in the videos.

Hi DCP, Is it possible to move a clip on the timeline left and right with the keyboard instead of using the mouse? Wow, batch conversion! Looking forward to learning how to batch convert multiple edits. I learn something new every time you post a tutorial regarding Magix Movie Pro. Also, can you list the specs of the equipment you use such as computer specs, keyboard & mouse. Thanks again 4 sharing
Not sure if the clip can be moved use arrow keys, will have to test that...

@@dcpwebdesigners No, the arrow keys by themselves won't move the clips. Seems like there's gotta be a way to do this without the mouse, maybe some two key combo or maybe not.

@@dcpwebdesigners OBS is a whole different program. I want to use magix which works well but when I record something from online I have no sound when I am done recording.

Adobe 2014 you mean? I use Adobe premiere for most of my editing now, but when I started TH-cam I used magix to save cash, premiere is way better but more expensive, honestly I have the whole Adobe suite of apps for £25 per month, a total bargain if you ask me.....

Honestly depends on what you are editing, I used magix for over 5 years and no problems, I only switched to Premiere because it came in the package I bought... If magix 2014 does the job then why change?
Showing how to cut clips and adding the same transition for over 15 minutes is a little over the top imo 😅 you could have just skipped or sped up that bit after explaining it one time
