We stayed in Gara Suites when we first came to sort our residential visa for living in Tenerife. We stayed there in a private AirBnB for 2 months and found it to be quiet and clean. After getting our visa we stayed in another AirBnB in Los Cristianos centre for 3 months whilst we found and bought our apartment. We’ve now been living here 2 and a half years and love it, we’re literally living our dream. The Armas and Fred Olsen ferries from Los Cristianos go direct to El Hierro, La Gomera and La Palma.
Just been watching this video. It’s made me think of when me and my boyfriend went Tenerife. I had the best holiday ever. So would love to go back. I’ve just text him to hint at him taking me back there 😂 and yes we share our meals too and he always says how mine is always better than his. Keep up the good work you two are amazing xxx

Venture restaurants, there’s about 10/12 one you can book a helicopter, , they do a brunch in most of them, you can drink all you want for first hour then eat for 2nd hour, about 32 euros each, they are class, street food , Asian , all covered, enjoy

You're right about older chaps working in restaurants. It's always reassuring. The daftest one we had was on the south coast of Portugal. Typical touristy place but right enough. I ordered a dirty great tuna steak and the waiter said, word for word, "That is an excellent choice. It is fresh from the sea, which is there." while pointing at the very sea no more than 10 metres away. Quarteira since you ask.
It was my missus 50th last Saturday James and we're off to Caernarfon this weekend, my treat. I better not tell her you treated Hells bells to a week in the sun! 🤣

There are six different parks Santiago‘s. Their named after old man, Santiago, who built all of those apartments back in the 70s. They were primarily tourist complexes, but in recent years have been bought out by private individuals who rent them to visitors. - the family owned the vast majority of the apartments. That includes the commercial Parc, Santiago, six.

The prices people pay for holidays frighten me. A thousand is a massive amount of money in my world. Any road up, I've had to come back to Newton Abbot to get repairs to my van, and now I've got a right list of repairs. While I was waiting for them to do the MOT, I was sheltering in Costa when a female I've known for some years, spotted me and spent over an hour trying to throw herself at me. Obviously she saw me as a retirement plan on account of hitting the wall. Now I've got to wait until next Thursday to get the van repaired. It's no joke being stuck in Newton Abbot, a place that civilisation forgot and at the age of sixty-nine being pursued by some useless old foo foo. I wonder whatever happened to my real life. Stone me what a day. I'm glad somebody's having a good time 😂
Oh The Shining is a great film. Have you seen many Hitchcock films? My husband and I love watching Alfred's work. Enjoy your night. A few more sleeps before birthday party time haha.
Just discovered you on TH-cam. We live in the Canary Islands, and it was interesting, listening to your comments . For meals, try off piste a little. Get off the main strip where the prices are higher and explore the side streets. Smaller places with smaller prices but still good food.

Ferry will go to Gomera. The island or even one of the other canary Islas, although it’s best to fly.

The ferry port has a roof top cafe where you can get something to eat that's cheap as chips, an hidden gem.
