Great video! It took me a while. 😊 I never do the the stitches in one piece. I have been stitching since1975. Everything is on my walls. And pillows in baskets all over my house.
Wow.. just WOW. First time Canadian watcher. *****I would LOVE your colour changes for Silver Creek Designs: My Christmas List. **** I have the pattern and am a sucker for band samplers. That will be my next start!!! I have over 240 wisps (works in slow progress - i added the "slow" to reflect my stash lol 😂 ) and yep. I do get things done. 😂 Love all of both your wips. Congrats to Emma 👶.
Wow! I love all your WIPs. You are doing what you love❤ I don't feel bad when I start a new project, when I have others to work on. I absolutely love crossstitching. Thank you for sharing all the feel good happiness. 😊
I absolutely loved seeing the WIP parade!! You both have some wonderful projects!! I am curious to see how you’re going to set up your schedule for the multiple block pieces you were going to stitch for #buildingblocksal. Happy stitching!!
Thank you! I think Emma is going to concentrate on one, and I’m going to stitch a different one each day. I think it should be a lot of fun 🤩 Happy Stitching!
I love a cross stitch parade! And yours was fabulous. You have a lot of nice patterns. And the cloth you are using is so pretty. I can't wait to see you again.
So fun to catch up with y’all and see all your WIPs! 🥰 Excited to kit up the US presidents and one nation after seeing yours! I need to get back to Halloween at Hawkrun too-I started in the center block. I’m not brave enough yet to start in a corner 🙈🤣
Ladies, you are amazing! Such gorgeous projects. Congratulations on the blessed news of the baby!!! Lots of blessings to all of you! On the One Nation pattern, what color gold will you be using for your accent of the personalized states? Thank you!
Thank you so much!! I think I’m going to go with Classic Color works Queen bee so it’s not a glaring difference but something we will still be able to notice. I’m so excited over that project 🇺🇸
Joy, some of your Christmas pieces are more of a winter stitch, so you could stitch through most of March and still be in winter season. Many flosstubers do Christmas in July, and some stitch Christmas on the 25th of every month. I have even seen a few if the temperature outside is cold enough to wear a jacket, sweater, or long sleeves. Good luck!
I laughed at your dentist story. The same thing happened to me. I was taking my grandson to the library and as we passed our dentist, he said that it looked like my daughter’s car in the lot. On our way back from the library we stopped. My daughter and my two granddaughters were inside the office. My daughter just laughed that I had stopped and said that that was “so small town” of me! We are also a close family and the dentist was not at all surprised. I, too have been stitching for over 40 years. I have place my dmc on bobbins for a while, but initially I cut everything to 18” lengths. I still have threads which are cut, and which I have wrapped around the bobbins. I can tell how old the floss is at a glance,
Congrats to Emma. I sympathize with the ground beef while pregnant, I had the same. And to this day can still get a little nauseous when frying hamburg. (My kids are in their 30s) Great WIP parade ladies!!
My dog Jack barks at the ice maker too. I do not know how many times I have to tell him it is just the ice maker. I have had him for 8 months, and I do not think he will ever stop barking at it. He also runs to the door barking when I answer the phone. He is such a goofball.
I’m working on Wilbur from Teresa Kogut too. I just love him! She also has “For Ewe” which is a sheep. Just thought you might want to know. Love you guys!
Thank you!! I did stitch and finish for ewe for Christmas. Although I would love to keep it up all year 😉 Wilbur is so much fun!! I think she needs a cow next .. I love stitching animals. Happy Stitching!
I had no idea there was a “right” direction for cross stitches--just as long as the top legs are all the same way. If I’m seeing your stitches right, I’m wrong too!!! Ain’t gonna change after 30ish years!!!!
My niece, who lives in Charleston, said that a shop called Lowcountry Needlepoint is opening May 1st and she'll be carrying cross stitch too. The location is on Maybank next to the James restaurant, across from the Terrace Theater. I hope that's true about her carrying cross stitch, you'll have to let us know.
Oh thank you for letting us know, We will definitely check it out. We use to have a cross stitch store in Charleston, and we’ve had two here in Summerville. All have closed. Now the 2 closest are two hours away in different directions.
Loved all your projects...as a South Carolina Girl myself...I love all your South Carolina references! Can you please share your Christmas List Colors...I have this one on my "to do list" and I LOVE your color choices! Congratulations on the new little one!
If you love to cross stitch but don't have room for all of it, check out the FlossTuber "Stitching By The Shore". She puts her cross stitch into albums.
Joy, what is the thread you used on some of the words on My Christmas List, i.e. Christmas Blessings? I love the variegation Wish I had seen this before I started, I am to the stockings so not too much left. Thanks for the WIP parade! Loved it.
Thank you!! It’s Classic Colorworks Fools Gold, the blue is Classic Colorworks Deep Fennel, the red is classic colorworks Licorice Red. Hope that helps!
It probably varies according to which color you go with. Something to keep in mind though. If I purchased a smaller count on PTP I wouldn’t be able to see it, and you know how I love my PTP ❤️
We usually keep our bag purchase under $40 per bag. I’ve seen beautiful bags for higher prices but personally I try to keep my bag purchases low so I have more fun money to spend on patterns and floss 😊
What a fantastic parade! I’ve been watching your channel recently and have so enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful projects. We have a lot in common, military family, recently taught my daughter to stitch, fan of PTP, and want to start all the things! You’ve definitely inspired me to get a Glendon Place pattern! But how to pick one?! CONGRATULATIONS Emma on your pregnancy 😊 We will be grandparents for the first time this summer, so exciting!
I just loved watching the two of you and all your wip's! I have subscribed and look forward to your next flosstube!
Yes, Frosted Pumpkin perfect for grandbabies!
Great video! It took me a while. 😊 I never do the the stitches in one piece. I have been stitching since1975. Everything is on my walls. And pillows in baskets all over my house.

I love the presidents and the one nation so much!! I’m not sure if I’m brave for starting in the corner or just plain crazy hahaha 😆
@@TheCarolinaStitchers 🤣🤣🤣

You are right, I really need a good rotation to give my Christmas/ winter patterns some love ❤️ Happy Stitching!

Isn’t it funny how we can date the age of our floss but our storage method!? Haha Most of the time it is really nice to live in small town ❤️😉
Congrats to Emma. I sympathize with the ground beef while pregnant, I had the same. And to this day can still get a little nauseous when frying hamburg. (My kids are in their 30s) Great WIP parade ladies!!
❤️❤️ Thank you!! Haha she hopes she can eventually eat beef again .. we shall see! Happy Stitching!
I’ve been organizing my cross stitch too!
Love all your WIP's! Lots of fun Halloween patterns.
Thank you!! We really do love Halloween 🎃

They really are so sweet!! 🐶 ❤️ I tell the family he is trying to protect us from the ice machine haha

Can’t wait to see you!! #stitchcon2024 ❤️
Hi, New Subscriber here! I will look for you both at Stitch Con, weekend B.❤
Still in shock that 28 ct PTP shriks all the way to 36 ct. that’s wild!
It probably varies according to which color you go with. Something to keep in mind though. If I purchased a smaller count on PTP I wouldn’t be able to see it, and you know how I love my PTP ❤️
Nice WIPs!
Thank you!!
51:10 bless you 😂
Inspired Needle in Florida just got a huge shipment of PTP in case you need more.
Ohhhh so good to know! Thank you!!
@TheCarolinaStitchers she showed your favorite colors and counts and the new colors introduced at Market
I watched Rosemary baby right before I had my daughter and after that I would not leave her with anyone not even my mom and my dad
Oh my gosh haha I could totally see that happening, I’m going to have to make sure Emma doesn’t watch it 🤣 Happy Stitching!
Read The Women….so good
Thank you! I looked it up, and it looks like a book I would enjoy.
what is a good price for a bag?
