Atomic once did a cool segment with cameras mounted on poles from the skiers' backs/packs giving a overhead/follow angle which was really cool. Some overhead flowing drone footage that has come out of Shiffrin also looks nice intercut with regular footage.

I maintain a rule of watching the first episode once a week during the ski season just to keep me sharp. Needless to say I was extremely excited when I saw that a 2nd episode has just came out! It's so rare to find good on-piste carving videos these days, it's all about park and freeride it seems which is such a shame for me....

Irony is we shared the 1st one too just this week - in Ski The East group after some guy said all the best skiers are skiing 100mm underfoot of more! We were like NOPE. No to follow up with this one a day later - CRAY.

I think the first video was better, because: 1. The music was more exciting 2. Panorama was nicer 3. The protagonists looked more like the average skier

I just started skiing for the first time this season and have been binge watching all of the Salomon TV videos but I keep coming back to the two Art of the Turn videos. They're incredible! Yuchiro Miura said in the Fountain of Youth video to always have a goal and these videos have given me that goal. Would love to see more in the series!

I have been into those big sweeping turns lately when the slopes are empty and that marvelous rebound that shoots the skier across the pistes and maybe the down hill boys and that intensity on their hellish turns . Just thoughts and no more . Thank you for making the world a better place , Mr Douglas .
