Hey ed, I got some questions. I’m new to building pc’s and all that. I’m building a pc that can run pcvr while recording. This is what I picked out so far, btw my budget is $1400 I5 12600k Aorus z690 elite mb 32gb ram Radeon rx 6800 1 tb ssd 650w ps That’s the big stuff, so is this good or should I change some parts?
Surprisingly, Temu has been a pretty good alternative to Aliexpress when they don't have items. A lot of teachers on our campus bought a lot of decorations/RGB lights etc for their classrooms, and have some really nice rooms.

I got my friend what I call the "G" clock & for what it is & what you pay, I think it's worth it. It has a lot of lighting features. Speaker isn't horrible for that price point. It is multiple functional & so far hasn't given him any issues. He got it in black & it makes a nice piece in the room.
A good cheap mic that i had for around 4 years is the Fifine k669b (if you want the bundle with the arm its called Fifine T699) hasnt disapointed me once

The thing with the microphone you bought is that if you talk to the microphone and have a headset connected to it there's no delay on listening your own voice. Atleast on RODE microphones. If it's connected to your PC directly there's a slight delay.
i kinda like blue switches but i might be biased because they are my first mechanical switches and i am used to the sound. but typing fast with all the clicks in my opionion is kinda fun to listen to
They don't necessarily have "high quality" items Temu is aliexpress but the items are all stored in USA warehouses and storages and charge more for the faster shipping ability
Not really surprised that a lot of the knock offs were nearly as good as their more expensive inspirations. All the R&D is already done. So reduced development costs as you're just investing in how to do it without breaking copyright laws not how to actually do it in the first place. Then there's scale. Smaller manufacturers can charge a lot less because as you scale up your costs increase rather quickly as you hire on additional personnel. Personnel is always the killer in any business model. Everything else you can reduce in cost over time through different methods. Personnel? Cost only goes up. Liking the Temu content.
20:22 Canyon has the same mouse and it is better its not only rainbow theme you can change colours but it does cost a little more. Btw great video c keep up the good work
laughed pretty hard when you almost knocked over the google lamp. few things that you could of done/added, the nano leaf looking lights: can you hook multiple sets together? the google lamp/clock/phone charger: why not let your phone charge over night from low % to see what it would be in the morning? (you did in depth testing of the monitor and mouse) all and all good videos, keep at it. :)

I'm the same when it comes to mechanical keyboards... linear all the way! For me, the CLICKETY-CLACKETY-CLACK is simply too distracting. I love my Razer Blackwidow linear keyboard! 😁

Well known brand names always cost an arm and leg and 90% of the time the cheaper ones are better you just have to do a bit of research to find the best ones
