I think that second mat is suppose to be digi-camouflage. The Marines were the first to release and wear the new digital camouflage pattern uniforms, called "MARPAT' (Marine pattern). Anyway, I think it looks pretty cool, but a bit too big. Maybe the next print they could make it smaller? Good stuff regardless!
Ed, the pixelated desk mat design is called digi camo. It is widely used in all branches of the military to camouflage troops and equipment from digital surveillance. BTW, please sharpen that knife homie. Every box you opened had me flinching.
