Just finished installing a similar product, almost exqctly the same, with the added benefit of having to do it from inside without removing the tops because my entire roof is geared up for overlanding/camping. Aint no way i was taking all that off. Rest assured, it can be done with patience and a little ingenuity.
If you have a 2021 JLU or the exact same interior, read this before install. There is another step I wish I knew beforehand. You will have to do some plastic carving to make this fit. The dome light panel will not go back up otherwise. Completely remove the dome light panel and I suggest popping the dome light out first because it will fight you if you try to take it all down in one piece. Once down you will see an inner molding that allows space for the two inner tab ears of each freedom panel brackets but they don't allow for the extra thickness of mount. You have to take a razer blade and cut out about a 1/4 inch back and down to the depth of the existing cutout. Do this in a straight line until you run off the outter edge where it tapers off. You will end up cutting out a piece about 3 inches long by a 1/4 X 1/2 inch. You are basically notching out a corner of the inner molding and there are two reinforced areas under it you will have to cut as well. This will make a lot more sense when you see it. Now you will have the room to fully snap up the dome light panel back up. I love this product and would buy it again but you aren't installing this in 20 minutes ;) Cutting the plastic isn't that difficult with a new blade and a steady hand. It will never be seen and won't affect the integrity of your panel. I have pictures of what I did to make it fit if needed.
I highly doubt it. Sunshades sit right at that same level, so they would either block the panel entirely, or be warped up over the panel if it's above it.

Well so much for that. I got the molle panel installed now I can't get the plastic dome light panel back on. It says 30 minute install. More 30 hours.

All though it may be a little late, it does work with alien 4x4s sunshade, its just slightly more difficult to install the sunshade.

So after watching I have installed correctly, but it makes alot of noise when flexing through off road trails...is this normal?

The bolts that hold the brackets in place are the same ones that hold that part of the molle panel up.
Don’t use these, I got mine and the QC is awful. Edges are all burred and spacers are falling apart out of the box

We unfortunately don't have a soft top to test fit. I can look to see if anyone on Instagram or Facebook runs it with a soft top!
People are really convinced to spend $50k on a CONVERTIBLE truck and then do everything they can to diminish the effectiveness of that capability. 😏
