@@Killermcknight would if I could but I may be a bit far from you. I just hope COVID doesn't screw everything up. Our local government has been pretty authoritarian with their restrictions and they may end up shutting it down if things get worse. Vlad wasn't allowed to play when they came because he tested positive.

This band was pretty good even in the early days, there wasn't anything stopping this band for blowing up! Just too much talent!
It still blows my mind that all of them are self taught. Technically Vlad is a classically trained pianist but he taught himself drums.
On the album version when she screams, “ the time I could hug my brother is forever lost”, it’s sounds so tortured. Trying to imagine their situation regarding the war in eastern Ukraine, it brings a tear to my eye.

I think Two Empires suggestion was me, but I can’t remember. I’ve suggested this on a couple. I love this song.
It's Jinjer time and I will always be here for that. I'm glad you are doing this I've been waiting for someone to go back to the beginning and work forward to see the actual progress that the band has gone through. When you get to the newer stuff you will see what I already know to be true this band is special next level stuff and my favorite band by far right now. Peace from Stan the Alaskan.

This was literally filmed a day or two before they filmed the Sit, Stay, Roll Over video so they were yet to be signed by Napalm. They did not have the resources they have now...

I got my tickets for the April 1st - "fools day" - show, the minute they went on sale. I scored 2 Pre-show Experience tickets that landed me row 4 on the floor 🤘🔥💥
I had to claim my insurance refund for the Dec 3rd show in Atlanta due to contracting COVID 7 days prior, sad time 😭
I’m considering going to see them in either Tulsa, Wichita, or Durant. The only thing stopping me is I just bought VIP’s to Megadeth and Lamb of God in April, and also have tickets a week before to see a small band called Entheos.
I'm not sure if you heard but the just announced a 16 show US tour that's going to lead into Knotfest. Gotta respect the hustle they have to just tour at every opportunity.

Smooth LMAO. Good pick, I'd only seen this performance one other time. Man I hope you get to go see them, I'm trying to see the Charleston show. First time I would see them in a big arena. Used to small clubs with them. Love it man.

This originally has two guitar parts with a lead over the main riff, after Dmitriy left they just omitted it entirely it seems. I swore I've seen a live version somewhere with the Roman playing the lead instead or them piping it in the PA, maybe I'm mistaken though. This sounded great for an outdoor gig live next to a busy street. When you do A Plus or Minus, check out Roman's guitar playthrough from Jinjer's YT channel, there's no lyrics, but he plays both guitar parts for it.

There's a bunch of great bootlegs, including full shows like live from Israel 2020 but that will spoil a ton so hold off on it haha. They used to do a cover of Lamb of God's Laid To Rest when they were starting out. Best sound is on the one uploaded by NosSam in 2012 with the title all in Russian except the name Jinjer.
I think I've seen that baby jinjer cover of lamb of god before someone left a link for me to check out.

Eugene just released a new bass playthrough for the song Colossus off their new album. He also wrote the lyrics for that song. The other song where he wrote the lyrics is 'Dreadful Moments', very underrated song imo. His bass playthrough videos are amazing 🤘🏼👌🏼

You should check out the Two Empires Collide live at Madison Rock Club. It’s a much cleaner, and I believe a much earlier performance.
@@ragnarjak2455 I thought it was prior to the dreadlocks Era. Tatiana just looks so young in that performance, and you can tell she hasn't quite perfected her lower growls to the level she has now. Still solid, and a good road map of where they've come from.
One of the very few songs they've written about Ukraine.

@@Killermcknight it's a large part of the reason I enjoy the song so much. Lyrics are pretty deep.
The only other song I can think of that they've written about Ukraine would be Home Back.
If I could throw out a band you might like, you might be into Imminence. Its some good metalcore with a singer/screamer who also plays violin. It doesn't come across as a gimmick though, its just really good. Closest comparison would probably be Architects. I would recommend the song Ghost.
