    I'd really like to hear an update on this. I'm writing in mid 2024. This video was made pre-covid. MS has had 5 more years to mature D365. Remote installation partners are more the norm now.

    Not sure why you say that D365 is not a SAAS product. Both D365 business central and F&O run on the cloud and managed by Microsoft. Microsoft does offer an on premise option but it only represents a very small portion of the install base. You should also mention that Netsuite licencing is more costly. Netsuite relies on more third party software for cetain functionaity.

    I plan on getting certified in both softwares. So helpfully neither company retire their certification in the next 10 years.

    What about country specific HR and tax customization? Can that be done?

      Yes, on both - but the devil is in the details: which countries, etc.
