Best Lesdup Run Interpretation Ran Well in The Big One Last Year & Watch Geelong Cup Replay came From Last on Bend, Was Only Starting To Really Lengthen Stride 200m From Winning Post
Hi Lew, thanks for the update. Much appreciated. Well I watched the Bendigo Cup live. Almost seemed like a duplicate win of Onesmoothoperator in the way he rounded them up. What I did notice in the parade before the race was Sea Kings walking action i.e hind legs. Very obvious. Didn't make any difference to the gallop as he was bolting 600 out. I reckon he will get 0.5kg penalty for that and he should be on equal footing with Valiant King. So I guess we wait see if anyone doesn't pay up and of course the dreaded VET inspections of every horse. I see Zardozi is entered in a 1600 on Derby Day so a delay on inspection for her possibly. Please don"t contact your doctor mate. We need you lol. Cheers.
Hi A P. Saint George is still a chance of making the Melbourne Cup if some horses Don,t pay up for M.C. In the Moonee Valley Cup he raced with bar plates front and back and had hoof filler as well. His run was ok. Saint George is lightly raced with only 10 starts. If you watch his races O'seas he would range up near the lead but struggled to win. Hope he wins M.C for you. I think you will find that next preparation he will have the "ultimate cut" (gelded) as he is currently an entire. This is when we will see the best of him. When I watched him race O'seas I thought blinkers would suit him, help him concentrate. Hope this helps in some way Cheers mate
Guess I should have taken the $15 on offer on Onesmoothoperator straight after the Geelong cup. Hes my pick but now $5 equal fav, sheesh. Weakest field in a long long time, maybe the weakest since ive been following racing (30 years)
@@nathjohn3158 bookies laughing all the way to the bank. And even though the VRC & their vets learn about these scratchings before the public, they don't make any profit from it.
@@lewdubspersonalbest9070 Yeah, it sucks, particularly when it comes down to the VRC vets caring more about the animals rights looney's than the punters. Ridiculous. I was once on Maldivian at $51 to win the CC when it got scratched as fav at the barriers, that was enough to put me off from any large all in wagers for life Lew.
