- A toddler was found wandering a busy road in Palm Coast by a woman vacationing in Florida. The mother of the toddler was found at home sleeping and tested positive for methadone.

That mother is not going to stop using drugs and alcohol. She's going to use this as a reason to do more. Don't fail this child CPS!

What a bum of a mother. Poor little guy running around dirty and unkempt.
She hadn't checked on him for 8 hours?! And had an open door in an upstairs apartment! It really is a miracle he didn't get hit by a car, or just vanish. And, he had to have climbed down the stairs. Unbelievable!
Humanity sure is classy.
She hadn't checked on him for 8 hours that tells me it not the first time seems like peoples in that apartment complex where use to this little boy wondering alone by himself while he mom is knocked out sleep from drugs. Growing up we had a similar situation to this where a kid dad was an alcoholic an his son would always come knocking on either my grandma door or my mom apartment door letting us know his dad was passed out drunk my grandma and mom would feed the kid that dude luck ran out when there was an apartment fire an he refused to get his son out the apartment stating he was sleeping when the fire was behind his apartment the firemen went inside grab the kid ended up reporting the dad to CPS.
The mother, asleep at 10am with a toddler in the house, I don't see good parenting there. The gov needs to save that kid before it is too late.
They will give the boy back to her while they can see she's still high ....smh.

That poor boy isn't going to stand a chance. He'll turn out the same as the mother. The pattern NEVER breaks. We need to start issuing licenses before you can become a parent. In society, it takes more to be able to drive a car legally.
Unfortunately, humanity has arranged itself in MULTIPLE backwards-arse ways for decades.
1. Most humans aren't fit to raise other humans (of any age).
2. Most humans are narcissistic megalomaniacs who guise their shortcomings and weaknesses behind false bravado, alcohol, "tough guy talk", and sometimes... money, status, and possessions.
3. Humanity pursues terrestrial, man-made "gains" over the more enlightened and CELEstial ones. In other words, they treasure coin, corporate connections, clout, computer code, control, cronies, and other treasures over other humans, ethics, teamwork, compassion, and what lies beyond the void veil.
This has been the default for thousands of years, and it'll never change. Mankind isn't capable; they're too self-programmed.
Sounds like the “mother” got Special Treatment and NOT ARRESTED like she should’ve been and the baby placed in State Custody 😡 😡 She has the Complexion for Protection, meanwhile the baby is left to continue to SUFFER in a shiddy situation.

Exactly! I'd bet that his teeth don't get cleaned either. He needs to be taken away from her, obviously the only important thing to her is her drugs. She should not be allowed to have children.
I’m so grateful that precious baby boy was found safe! Mom needs a whole lot of in depth self improvement before he should even possibly be back with her! 😮
This is a no win for the child. Back to a druged out mom or foster care in witch some of them should not be foster parents.This makes my heart hurt.
well she might already be on methadone per a clinic to get off worse drugs....who knows...hope the little kid gets the care he needs.

You need a license to cut hair in most states in America. And you have to renew that license every 2 years. Our government treats people's hair with more respect and reverence than children. SMH.

So WHY was CPS called? WHY was this child returned to the parent? I sincerely hope she goes to a hardware store TODAY and gets an extra lock.
They said CPS was called and took custody of the child. Mother was charged with felony child neglect. He wasn't returned to her.

This little boy tried walking in my condo. Brave ass kid. My dog was going nuts and he didn't care at all.
