Honestly I find her somewhat boring to play.....like I get it the combo of tankyness + damage makes her a really good pick (I personally pick her when I dont trust my team) but for me she just lacks the cool factor and you cant really make insane plays with her. As a tank Atlas is so much better and franco is just way more exciting. In the mm category even lesley who has a very straightforward playstyle feels better cause of her burst damage and legit one shot in late game.
Shes super strong especially when you need to fill both tank and mage dps roles
@@josenpai27 I agree especially in the early game. in the late game she acts as a second tank if you build her tank build and she still has exceptionally good damage when she activates her ult
I'm a yin main and after seeing some clips of the first match...I can confirm from the positioning of their mm that he could've easily dived for her...I mean yin has a dash plus movement spd skill...it's fairly easy to dive for the mm from the back
Unless he can stun her he's gonna die to a lategame Layla anyway...

It’s totally possible for the yin to dive this particular layla. Just look at how the layla plays… she’s not aware of her surrounding and barely retreats. Player profiling is important as well on top of knowing the hero’s skills
@@mesiuuuut5095 That applies to nearly all mm in late game vs yin, if yin miss his stun of course he's going to die.
Layla is one of those marksmans that is pretty easy to gank but becomes a real menace if she reaches late game. Also Beto, try building Calamity Reaper + Holy Crystal on Edith. The next items would be defense. This build shreds squishies.
Day 4 of asking Beto to play Minotaur
For Edith, more important than either of those items is inspire. She needs to build a couple of regular tank items first, otherwise her ult gets nearly nothing from the armor conversion. Only then is Calamity truly viable. As for Edith in the hyper role... just... no...

As an Edith enjoyer, I suggest that you wait for her rage bar to reach at least half before using her ult (preferably max rage) because it gives her more attack speed.

but when you're picking a glass cannon like layla make sure to pick last to avoid counters like
natalia, saber, harley, ling, fanny, eudora, jawhead basically any burst heroes.
(also make sure your teammates picked a decent tank to support you)
Fun fact: You can now chase targets with Aulus' basic attacks while his 1st skill is still active after skill cast as well as gain damage reduction in his front, while his buffed 2nd skill gives him more build options besides full damage specially since he's the fighter.
So I can use basic atk while using 1st skill?
@@Johnkent13 Moonton makes this skill easier by making its movement speed and damage reduction takes effect after just tap (in previously version, it lost if you didn't hold this skill). It'll make advantages now for Aulus to chase enemies easier.
but in the past when you release the 1st skill there is a bit of aoe dmg that slows enemies

Man, Edith carried me this season. I don’t personally use her as jungler but she works well as an underestimated fighter/tank most of the time.
9:27 is very true and one of the biggest problems in ml, its sad that you cant play whatever hero you want when you get to a certain point in the game. Hero balancing is a pretty huge issue for most games but ml does a decent job however theres always a few problems as no game is perfect. I hope they keep up the good job and give more buffs to overall weak heroes.

the last bit is relatable, since almost a year of mlbb release i only used alpha and alucard for years and dancing back and forth in elite to master. when i learned to use most of fighters and supports, harith, lunox, gusion, selena, hayabusa, hanzo, harley and lesley and learned how to counterbuild i reached legend and even stepped mythic only once. still now i play casually for fun and my siblings now plays it recently and even doing the same thing as i did before, only their best picks.

Layla is only good if you have such high map awareness and a good support to protect you, otherwise she is just food for the jg, but once she reaches late game, her and Miya are literal menaces, its always worrying when they get fed early because you know unless you have one shot skills it would be pretty hard to shut them down

I played Aulus yesterday and on my second game ever with him (my first game of the day) I went 24/6/10 with a savage. I love this hero so much
I think edith can 1v1 with layla. Just use the ultimate at perfect timing. At full rage, her atk speed and lifesteal are on par with other marksman. The problem is you need other team mates to protect backline since you are the mm now, you have to kill

Aulus is basically a Melee Moskov, once he gets lvl 12 and 3 items, his sustain becomes really extreme and his damage is massive.
He's one of the fastest heroes at clearing jungle even without retri, the only downside is that a well placed or stray CC skill can really stop him in his tracks

Hey beto i dont think the first skill became a good buff for aulus but for me i think holding is better because when you let go he will stomp the ground and slows the enemy and deals dmg but damn that lyla user is being a simp for lyla lol

As you know, new buff Aulus is badass where's his first skill can debuff any slow or stun skills. Probably the best you can do to counter any cc effects skills.
