  • I have recently embarked on a journey to clean up my damaged forest after a timber cutting 20 years ago. We bought this land with the understanding of the situation, but I didn't know how hard it would be land clearing. The reason I decided to do this is that it gives me room to plant native trees and plants that are better suited to the local ecosystem. Furthermore, I am removing the tree tops left on the ground as they present a fire hazard, which could put my property and the surrounding areas in danger.
    Additionally, the tree tops left on the ground also cause diseases and infestations, which can harm the surrounding vegetation. This is why I am taking it upon myself to clean up my land and make it a safer and healthier place for myself and the environment.
    To achieve this, I am using my tractor and attachments, as well as my chainsaws, to remove the invasive trees and plants that have taken over the property. I am proud to say that I am taking a proactive approach to maintain the health of my forest and create a better environment for all living creatures.
    By cleaning up my damaged forest, I am also contributing to the preservation of the natural resources in my area. I believe that it is important to take care of the environment and to protect it for future generations. This is why I am doing everything I can to make a positive impact on my property and the surrounding areas.

    You may have had a sound issue, it the music added, was stellar. Maybe, when the issues is resolved, have both, the sound and music in the background, or vs Versa.

    Hi Tony. Another implement that Baumalight has which also does good for this (as I've seen on other channels) would be the tree saw. While it can take it to ground level, it doesn't completely take care of the debris which is an advantage for the mulcher. Hope to see an update to how all of the cleared land is doing later this year.

    Hello Tony, great video, thank you, just curious in the first part of your video you were creating a brush pile further up into your yard. Did you mulch that or burn it

    • @TonysTractorAdventure

      I burned it. The mulcher and chipper will only go so big. Burning is sometimes easier.

    Good video, Tony how reliable is that mp 348 mulcher baumalight , did the teeth get dull on the mp 348 already, and does the belt slip while using it, like to get one.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have never had to do anything on the mulcher. I has carbide teeth, so they are holding up well. We don't have rocks, so different areas will have different results. The belt is not meant to slip. It has a slip clutch, but the belt offers some extra protection. Each tooth and be rotated to three different cutting sides, then they are replaceable. I would guess we have 50 real clock hours on the mulcher so far.

    Hey Tony, Thanks for another great video. I just purchased a 5-acres property in central Texas and have about 3-acres that will need to be cleaned up. The previous owner left many fallen and cut trees around the property. I don’t have a tractor at this time. What would you recommend: Brand, size and implements? Thanks.

      Will the T-25 Run the Baumalight M-348 as well as the T474?

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I don't recommend the MP348 for the T25. It does have the HP or the weight needed.

    What about the offset flail mower you had? And don’t you have a backhoe? Brush mower?

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, I have those things. Still they don't make my list. I haven't dug up a stump since I bought my stump grinder. I will only dig up a stump now if i need to build in that location. The offset flail mower still makes the list for sure. I just said flail mower in the video. I use the little offset flail mower a lot in the summer.

    How difficult do you think it would be to run the brush mulcher with a gear driven tractor

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would difficult. Not saying it couldn't be done, but it would be tough. A live PTO is a must and HST is preferred.

    Seems like the pto forestry mulcher is much more efficient than the snips and the wood chipper combined. Never used the mulcher but I'm saving for it.
