Thank you for perfect information. I have some bulbs of freesia . It's still frosty weather in North West UK so I have to wait for more days to grow it .
Thank you! I planted my freesias waay tooo deep about a month ago. Today I dug them out and planted them more superficially. I wish I had seen this video when I first bought my bulbs!
Got some of these today, thanks so much. Was a bit worried about the planting, I last planted Gladioli and they needed to be in 20cm, It was like I was digging to Australia! Got some Irises too but it looks like they want to grow in the packet so should be pretty simple!
Mine does, too! I’d love to have them blooming for her during her birthday month of February, but I can only ever get them to bloom in March or April, at the earliest. It is just so hot where I live, even in October, so there is no way of planting them earlier.
Hi, thanks for the video. I have the white ones and just pulled out some bulbs with the roots still intact. Some bulbs look "fresh" and a few have a husk-like outer covering. Can I plant the "fresh" looking bulbs directly, or do I dry them out but cutting the roots first? I also saw a video where she planted the bulbs with the roots and stems still intact. Appreciate your advice. Thanks
Zone 7a Maryland. I planted freesia in my garden in August, they have just sprouted. They are annuals here so I dug them up for the winter. Should I pot them up or store them and replant in May in the garden?
I store mine. I dry them out completely, before packing them away in a dark box of woodchips, in my garage. They usually come back every year. I plant them in November. I’d love to plant them earlier, so that they bloom on my Mum’s birthday month in February, but it is so hot where I live, right into October, so I wait and plant at the beginning of November, once the rain returns and the temps drop back into the 20s (Celsius.)
Thank you for the information. Freesia are one of favs when it comes to smell. I just wanted to make sure I get this right.
Happy to have found this video. We just planted ours last week.

I love freesia flowers.. I'm gonna have a freesia flower farm 💐. In my 20s we went to a few orchid flower farms and I wanted it.. Anyways... 😄

If we grow in pot so which soil media can use ?
I have found that they are not fussy. I use regular garden compost, but make sure not to water them too much, or they may rot.
From megaman to this, internet at it's best.
como posso mudar para O português? assim nada entendo de freesia
