Love GRAY! ! ! Disc it started with a Discraft heat I thought I would for sure lose but no problem finding gray. I’m currently forming an all Gray bag!!!
I think you should put them on a jig that will rotate the disc at some realistic spin rate and see if their profiles are different - that's honestly the only reason why I'd expect then to fly differently
i love these testing and prototyping videos, i thought i'd have to get a job in disc manufacturing to learn this kind of stuff. not that i've ruled it out, but happy to learn the easy way for now along with you guys!
Dyemax (as well as others) use UV ink printing to get that image onto a disc. It's a very interesting process and it's different from dyeing a disc as the UV ink doesn't seep into the plastic, it just cures on top of it. So most of the disc remains the original color which explains why when regrinded and remolded, the result is simply an off white color. Those look great for disc dyers 👀 🎨🖌 As for the flight difference; I would imagine the UV ink acts as an additive. Kinda like metal flake, etc... which typically makes a disc fly more overstable than the original.
i think you need to get these 2 disc laser imaged and see the real difference between them.. if you can not see it with your eyes but i bet you can with technology would be interesting and no one has done it before....
Y’all have a HUGE opportunity to make a Glow-zone, a glow-in-the-dark Ozone
What shirt was Kyle wearing to make Jesse go "...Naw, go grab a new shirt off the shelf if you're gonna be in the video". 😂
🤯 it’s a Tony Justice from the 2023 3D!!!
4:00,Anything else you're looking for? "A good flying Ozone" ....oh man I almost missed that one.
already signed up for the disc swap!!!
Sign up for the holiday used disc swap!!!!

They look like they flew exactly the same to me on camera hahaha
Interested to see what you have planned for the next 4 discs!
Just watching this and I’m hoping the answer is that it works as we’re going to send you some CHOphies (trophies) from past events. All DyeMax.
I actually like the look of the contaminated discs. Like 90s slime splatter
DyeMax Ozones slap, we need a full run of those stat

@@McSquiggles44 if interested in disc manufacturing, smarter every day has a video where he toured MVP's manufacturing process.
Kyle picked up a fresh new shirt off the shelf. 😄😄
You should try to get Destin from SmarterEveryDay to do an episode with you on disc flight!
Great video! I throw ozones two different colors, they are the best. I signed up for the disc exchange first time this year, and can’t wait!
I would love to dye those! I got some great cells on my 001 Run Purple Ozone. TP's dye well if done with love!
I need one of these sooo bad!!!
You really do need your own ditto flight machine to do repeatable test throws....
If Kyle gets me in the exchange, I hope it's exactly how it came out - flashing and everything.

We specialize in UV printing. The Dyemax process is not a UV process but they use a different printing process. Not our information to share.
@discgolfswag why not share and grow the sport instead of gatekeeping?
Fa la la la la, la la la la!
Who is "just tuning in" 7 minutes into this video? Lmao
TRASH PANDA: That's the question we're haveta answer. This should be a shirt!!!
Why don't the ozone's have the nub on them?
Do you have always hand remove the ozone or is that an effect of the plastic
How do I order a dye max ozone?
Why does the ozone not have a sprue?
I think the plastic is injected by the rim and not the bottom
The Ozone and Dune mold have a valvegate which closes off so there is no sprue on the discs.
see if you can hire Dittoflight for a day or two
This sounds really cool. Is the pairing process random? I live in Canada and sometimes shipping costs for international shipments can be pretty high.
How many discs of one type of plastic do you guys need from the recycling program before it is worth grinding them up and making a run of discs?
So am I understanding that the multi colored discs have too many quality control issues (due to contamination) to be sold? ... Cause Id buy one...
Bro just accidentally created what the ozone was supposed to be
