Many Pools Trail, Zion National Park, Utah.

Another part of our adventure was this awesome Many Pools (Many Mini Pools) hiking trail. We entered the park through the East Gate and headed straight into the Checker Board Mesa. After a small tunnel we pulled off to find our trail head. When not flooded you can start the trail from the tunnel that runs under the road. This hike takes you up sandstone slopes with hundreds (Many) of different sizes and shapes of smooth pools and crevices cut out of the rockface from the running water. There was still water in most of the pools (and water bugs) with some water still moving. The hike was not too difficult and we only ran into two other people on the trail. There were several groups of Desert Bighorn Sheep who were not bothered by us at all. We even saw one on the road on the way out!
