I've heard of Gelato, but not had a chance to look into them yet. Look really interesting. I'm still new to using POD for my designs and like the idea of using multiple POD services for my work. Can I just ask, do you have one main set of social media accounts for your designs and direct people to the different POD solutions via that, or do you create multiple sets of socials for each POD service you use? I'm just a bit daunting by having too many socials to run!
I completely agree and it can be overwhelming. I don’t actually use social media for my designs very much at all. I use Pinterest a tiny bit. I find that if I find a niche without much competition, I appear on the first page of Google pretty easily for Redbubble, Teepublic, Merch by Amazon and Displate. I just target niches that people are searching for (I have never found that people on social media are actually “shopping” but people searching are.
@@zenwatercooler that is such a good point. Our store is still new and so are the socials. You get lots of "followers' and likes, but that doesn't equate to click throughs and sales. I don't want to be a slave to socials. I want to put my time and energy into designing and uploading the designs to my stores.
You can, but you can also set up an interfaced store (like on Etsy or using your own website) and sell that way as well (then the customer buys the shirt, and THEN you pay for it and it ships).
So you have to send in shipping orders yourself? For only a couple dollars profit. That is not worth it. As much as they are charging, it should be done automatically.
No, if you are linked to a store, the order automatically is taken care of. I was using a manual store in the example (where you can order samples or products for clients directly).
I don't have my own website yet, but I do have a ko fi site which allows me to sell physical and digital products. Is it possible for me to link Gelato to that site to sell my products?
That is a fantastic question - I know that Ko-fi is used for donations and also selling digital and physical goods. I will check it out, this might be a great video!
Yes - if you integrate a store with Gelato, then both transactions are done automatically (the customer pays you through Etsy for example and then you pay Gelato) and you pocket the difference.
I highly recommend Gelato - they are a print on demand supplier so you would typically need an outlet to sell your products (like a Shopify store, Etsy shop, etc).
gelato is terrible. i just purchased a tshirt and the quality is terrible + the size is waaaay too big. I ordered a medium and i swear this thing is at least XXL.
Wow that is definitely not been my experience - I wonder if you contact them they would send another one? I buy most of my shirts from Gelato because the higher-end ones the best quality I have seen.
You always provide great examples. Thanks. Could you or do you have a video about using free account vrs the gold plus?
Thanks for another great option for selling.
I love Gelato, great prices and fast shipping! Way better then printify now!
I was hoping for a frozen desert. 😩
Would love to see a detail video explaining how the process works for setting this up with Amazon or eBay integration. Have so many questions
How is is with PoD in General? Do these Platforms also provide the printing process or will i have to get a press myself?
Gelato prints and ships the item. So you just need to sell it. Typically you would have an Etsy store or your own website for example.
@@zenwatercoolercan you create designs and share a link for people to go purchase from Gelato store?

Do you recommend awkward styles? I would like to know more about it
I definitely recommend unique and niche designs, so as long as it is high quality, the weirder the better! th-cam.com/video/cE_7XPhFKtk/w-d-xo.html
So you have to buy from gelato first and then resell it?

That is what I was thinking. Which, I am assuming, means, we would have to worry about the returns, as well.

@@zenwatercooler OH ok.
Do they have a marketplace like red bubble?
No - this is a print-on-demand supplier, you would need to integrate a store or have a real-life shop.

If people buy my product from gelato am I responsible for paying for the product before sending it out

i hope you are goning to react but is this rn the best print on demand site?
