As good as Abim is, so far he only emulates the style of others, no great writings or innovations yet to be displayed. Don't get me wrong, I only wish I can play like him but only time will tell whether he will be remembered as one of the greats or one of the great copiers. Thousands of players like him out there but only one Joe, Steve, Yngwie, etc.
Its like the older generation gave their thrones for the sake of future. Abim is GOD! Every guitarists in here (Indonesia) agreeing with that. I personally in the same circle with Dinuth and Bounty (Drummer), we’re all agree that boy is the one!

nice reaction!! btw about the reverse end of strings, it's very common in indonesia (i don't know in other country) because we have a kind of guitar bridge that require to attach the other end of the strings
He is an amazing player. But has he the creativity to invent his own compositions? Because Satriani is about tunes and melodies and meaningful shredding. Guthrie Govan has an amazing dexterity, but it is not enough.
