I had the NRC eliminator kit for my 899. The plates were really close to the engine and some people said their plate got warped from engine heat. This kit seems to have the plates a bit farther out but will it potentially have the same issue? Just wanted to know in advance so that I can stick a heat shield on the plates to prevent warping problems. Thanks in advance.
Its so mutch easier to just remove the two mounting bolts and disconnect the one conector and unbolt the tail unit and split it in half when it is off the bike.

I heard another TH-camr say that this NRC product burns out over time. Does anyone follow the instructions when they install this kit? There's no need to even take the back seat off and undo those grab strap bolts. Also, those white shim washers are meant for the bolts that hold the whole kit on the bike..
Never had issues. If there are any problems they warranty their products. The white spacers are for certain plate positions. We have a new updated video coming soon.

@@Motomillion yeah, I am unimpressed with this part at the price point. Maybe you got a better deal than me. I didn't pay that much more for a clear clutch case and shorty levers. This piece at 100 dollars is worth it, but at 210 dollars....rubbish.
Hey guys, I have a 2018 v4s. I installed this kit the day after I got my bike. Recently the DES lights has come on and the bike rode terrible. Brought it to my dealer, and they said the blinkers are controlled by the BBS and that’s what caused the problem. They have to replace it, and Ducati won’t cover it under warranty. The BBS alone is $500 without labor. Has anyone else had this issue? I call BS
The turn signals have nothing to do with the engine control unit and the bike being in limp mode (since you are saying the bike was running horrible). Also the DES is the suspension error code, again would have nothing to do with the turn signals.
I wanted to install it so badly and it got dark that I put them on with no signals until tomorrow. Had to rush because my fiancé doesn’t know I bought a bike yet 😂

Do you mean the little flap looking piece? If so, you can test fit first, if it is off a little but, just bent it with gentle force.
Im having the same issue mine has a gap in it pleas let me know what you did to fix it

SF V4 has one that is made for it which looks the same. Just some of the electronics are different so that it doesn't hyperflash.
