I remember back in late 78 & early 79, flying helicopter into the Toroweep strip where the park Ranger and his wife lived. The fixed wings would bring in tourists for a rafting trip, I would fly them down to an L Z where they would get on board a raft for a three day adventure. I'd take 3 or 4 pax up to the awaiting fixed wing, and they'd fly back to Vegas.
