Bertholt (I believe that’s how his named is spelled) became the Colossal Titan in Marley. Many of them had no idea they were just being used all throughout.
This is a cool video, but there's so much wrong information in this that it's genuinely hard to watch. The Colossal Titan Shifter can control the size of the explosion, regardless of the degree of transformation. Bertholdt transformed the first time at Shiganshina without the massive explosion, and Armin transformed in front of the Marleyan boat on the Paradis Coast without the explosion as well. The Wall Titans are also all 60m tall, but are buried a few meters deep, which is why Bertholdt's Colossal could peer over the wall in Shiganshina. Finally, Bertholdt didn't kick the Titan-hardened part of the wall. In both Shiganshina and Trost, he kicked the gates the Scouts used to leave the walls, which was made of brick.
It would be cool if it got some.more versatility like maybe the ability for the shifter to just make the explosion without transforming idk none of the shifters really use their titans to the full capability

So I’ve started rewatching the series again and have a question. In season one both times the colossal Titan shows up there’s not explosion it just appears and then disappears, but in the later season it’s a God of Destruction as the Marley guy puts it. Is there any explanation on how it went from transforming like 6 feet away from Eren with no harm done to being a walking nuke?
It’s because Bertholdt can control his transformation and how big of an explosion it causes. Remember in the second season when he transformed on top of the wall? It was only a half transformation, similar to when Eren just transformed to catch the cannonball or Uri Reiss when he only transformed his arm, picking up Kenny. I guess like all the Marleyan warriors Bertholdt has gone through severe training concerning his titan shifting, to control the colossal to its maximum.
I was suffering through the way this narrator pronounces some names but when he showed the completely wrong titan when he was talking about rod reiss' titan i lost it. its like someone making an indepth video about guns, mentioning an assault rifle and showing a pistol... Like BASIC research is necessary if youre making an indepth video
The colossus titans are also buried in the ground by a few meters I think ten or so And the Colossal titans could only break a the gate as it was weaker than the actual wall Colossal can control the boom all the way from nothing as we see in the beginning to vapoeizing a city full control of the explosion power.
When the Colossal Titan disappeared in Season 1, how did Eren survive the heat? He turned all his body into steam all at once, and nothing happened to Eren
Fun fact: the wall titans are NOT collosal titans they are COLLOSUS titans which ARE not shifters Also the collosal titan was able to break the wall because the gate was made from bricks not titan hardening
