What she and Jax did was kidnapping, for two people who claimed to love Courtney they totally ignored her dying wish: for Spencer to be with his father.

Emily divorced Nik and became involved with Sonny. Courtney became pregnant but it wasn't known if Nik was the father or Jax was. Courtney found out but died before she could tell Nik. Jax and Carly kept it a secret and raised Spencer as their own, until Robin told the truth.
Look how long it took to age Cameron. He was still a little kid in 2009 while Molly who was born after him was almost a teenager. They really need to age kids that were born earlier than the others first but they don't

Why did Carly and Jax keep Spencer from Nik ? Nik's mother is Laura who is/was married to Luke who is Bobbi's brother who is Carly's mother. Jax was just a friend to Carly, at the time. And Spencer was Courtney's son, Courtney was Carly's friend and Courtney wanted Nik to raise Spencer.

The truth hurt good, Robin told him because of what she experienced with Jason, Carly, Michael and Aj. She didn't tell Patrick about Emma right away but eventually he found out. Robin learned from her past mistakes, you are suppose to learn from your mistakes. Something that Carly still hasn't learned.
That's not on Nikolas, that's on the writers. He sent Spencer away to A. protect him from Helena and B. because children can only be on set a limited amount of hours. If there's no story, there's no need to cast a kid and pay him for five minutes here or there and pay an actor and actually go out and find a kid.

I don’t blame Robin for telling Nikolas. I can appreciate that she was stuck in a really shitty position because of being close friends with both Jax and Nikolas. Plus, she didn’t seek this out, this fell into her lap because Maxie gave her the information. What I don’t like is that it seems like Robin told Nikolas because she didn’t like seeing Carly so happy. People could argue that it pissed her off to see Carly with a smile on her face knowing that it was all based on a lie, but I still don’t think that’s the right reason to reveal such a life changing secret.

That's why I can't take any of this current storyline seriously. Why should Nina face consequences when Carly didn't face consequences for KIDNAPPING A CHILD? How was Carly not locked up for an actual serious crime like kidnapping, but they're trying to have Nina locked up for fraud? Make it make sense.
And remember, AJ threatened before Michael was even born, to take him away from Carly. If she had told AJ, she would have lost him as soon as he was born. Hey, folks. Carly did not lie about Michael because AJ was a drunk, or because the Quartermaines were a lousy environment for a child. She was not concerned with the qualifications of a mob boss or enforcer to be her baby’s father. She did not sit down and analyze whether A J or Jason would be a better father.
She did it for one reason. And one reason only. A J had flat out told her that if the baby was his, he was going to have her declared an unfit mother and take the baby away from her. She knew that she would have no chance against the Quartermaines. She was desperate when she claimed the baby was Jason’s. Desperate to keep her baby. In the circumstances, who can blame her?
After she kept him away from HIS son for a year. She deserved it!

I don’t blame Robin for telling Nikolas. I can appreciate that she was stuck in a really shitty position because of being close friends with both Jax and Nikolas. Plus, she didn’t seek this out, this fell into her lap because Maxie gave her the information. What I don’t like is that it seems like Robin told Nikolas because she didn’t like seeing Carly so happy. People could argue that it pissed her off to see Carly with a smile on her face knowing that it was all based on a lie, but I still don’t think that’s the right reason to reveal such a life changing secret.
Yeah she only said something because she thought Carly was behind it all. If she knew Jax was also behind it she wouldn't have said anything.
@MaureenKoscinski, I’m not so sure. I think she would have handled it differently because of her friendship with Jax, but because of her friendship with Nikolas, I don’t think she would have just let Jax raise nikolas’ child.

@BichGODDESS Because characters like Jake and Cam are needed right now for Lucky/Liz story. Jax and Carly's kid is on screen right now because she's needed for a story. For whatever reason, they don't feel they need a Spencer right now which is beyond me. I think it's extremely stupid that they don't mention him anymore. But, Guza isn't really know for his consistency. It's not surprising.

Reading your comment two years later and was thinking the same thing!!! Josslyn wasn't even thought of and now they have all of them the same age, when Cameron and Spencer are closer in age then she is a few years behind. Spencer was hung up on Emma and always competed with Cameron for her!😂

That's why I can't take any of this current storyline seriously. Why should Nina face consequences when Carly didn't face consequences for KIDNAPPING A CHILD? And Jason was simply helping her. Perhaps someone can tell me just what she could have done differently and still have kept her son.
