Thanks for your inspired video, but I have a little of confusion! and I think I am in trouble! pls, help! Are closing point (or misclosure point) and closing station different? I think the traverse app in Leica Captivate and its methods are different from those in Leica Flexfield like TS07. I performed a traverse using TS07 Total Station, I had just two known points (K95 & K96), I wanted to perform a Link Traverse but I thought it is impossible to doing it, because I had just 2 points! but What I did is some way looks like a (closed loop) traverse! Whatever, I started at point K95 and backsight K96 with (known backsight) orientation method outside the traverse app, then I entered the traverse app and I chose (with known backsight) method and did the same as the orientation when 1st setup, then the traverse started and I measured Back and Fore sights till I arrived the other known point (K96-initial backsight!), I setup at (K96), I shot backsight, then I hit the (Close) button before measuring foresight and a window appeared (it included different options, one of them stated "At known Station to Known Closing Point") I chose it and I selected the closing station as (K96) and the closing point as (K95 - the start station). Then it finished the Job and I Adjusted the traverse inside the total station. When results appeared, I noticed that the last distance (K96 To K95) measured, not included in the adjustment, why? and my end station appeared as point K96! Did I perform the traverse in a wrong way or what? or the closing point is just used for close the angle to calculate the angle misclosure? for checking weather I'm wrong or not I processed the raw traverse data with Leica Infinity and achieved the same result with very small discrepancy. You didn't hit the close button and the total station closed in position when you were at point 4 and foresighting point 1!! so I didn't understand your point of misclosure is point 1 or point 6? and the total length of the traverse is 1 to 1 or 1 to 6? also my traverse is true or not, however I got a very accurate result!
Yes, if you run the traverse application, and tie in survey-topo points after the sets of angles are turned, they will be adjusted, as they are linked to that setup, so their position are determined by the setup point and newly adjusted values
Hello, your videos are very good, very well explained, greetings.✌
thank you for the feedback-glad you found helpful
Buen trabajo!!!

clear explaining, but how to export traverse field data file from Leica TS07 to be read into Leica infinity??
this is for Captivate, the ts07 is different SW, I would try to export a XML from TS07 then try to import to Infinity
Did the topo points 1000 and 1001 change after adjustment?
Yes, if you run the traverse application, and tie in survey-topo points after the sets of angles are turned, they will be adjusted, as they are linked to that setup, so their position are determined by the setup point and newly adjusted values
