I was 10 years old living in Houston when 9/11 happened. I was in the 5th grade and can remember my teacher telling my class what happened after lunch. When I got back home that day every channel was showing the planes crash into the towers over and over again. I also remember watching that first Smackdown after 9/11 with about a dozen members of my family.
I was almost turning 4 years old at the time & I was in kindergarten at the time. I remember the TVs that we had were on pretty much almost the whole day I was there. My mom wanted to come me & my sister up from school but her boss wouldn't let her. So I think my dad came & took us home early. I didn't know what that was about at first. I just assumed that he surprised us at the time. But when I got home, basically every channel that was on TV had buildings being & eventually collapsing. Man what a crazy & eventful day that was.
I remember being in Third Grade when this went down.... I didn't know what was going on then until it took me weeks to process it. Once I found out what was actually going on, I was stunned. 😢
Why does Conrad have to be the host to literally every wrestling podcast? His Mr Garrison voice and the way he’s always finishing his guests sentences is so annoying. Not to mention how he laughs out loud like a maniac any time the guest says something relatively funny
I think he's the best. Especially when you compare him to others. And I've never heard him finish someone sentence. Usually he leaves plenty of dead air to allow his guests to come back if they want or want to add something. You're just a hater. Hate hate hate hate
I remember watching Stone Cold throwing Kurt Angle off the stage on 9/10, and the show closing with Michael Cole telling Stone Cold that Angle injured his neck. The next morning, my mother woke me up early, and she told me "something horrible had happened." The very first thought in my brain was something bad had happened to Kurt Angle. I thought he may have became quadriplegic or died, my subconscious was thinking of the Monday morning 2 years earlier when I learned Owen Hart passed. The world was so much different back then. Before 9/11, you'd think the worst thing that could happen would be one of your favorite celebrities dying, not a multi co-ordinated terrorist attack involving the death of thousands of people.
I wonder how Austin retains the title if Kurt doesn't win. Does he get DQed again like in SummerSlam? Does Shane, Tazz, RVD or someone interfere to help Austin? Austin could not beat Angle one on one fair and square around that time.
I Remember that Time, I was at my house, I had just got done bottle feeding my 1-month-old son named Mark, my other three children, our 5-year-old daughter named Hannah, our 7-year-old son named Jessie, and our 9-year-old son named Stephen, was at school, and my Husband Jason David was at work, I was washing the Breakfast Dishes in the Kitchen Sink, while Looking Over across from the Island Bar that connected the Kitchen and the Living Room, on the TV an episode of Little House on The Prairie was on (It was the episode of when that old house that they had turned into a school for all of those poor blind kids was on fire), I was washing the last bowl, and was putting it in the drainer to dry, when the Telephone Ringed, I answered the phone, I was talking to my friend named Sarah, we was talking to each-other for over an hour and a half, I had my back to the living room doorway, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw something reflected from the mirror that was hanging in the corner, and it was directly at the living room, I saw this happening on TV, I turned around and saw it, I asked Sarah if she was watching it, she told me that it was, we got off the phone, I sat in the recliner, and started watching it, about an hour later the kids came home from school early, I told them to go to their bedrooms, I had to quickly take Baby Mark to his Nursery and laid him down in his crib, I went back to the Living Room. He's boring asf
Thinking the same thing, it’s annoying honestly. Nothing against him personally, but a new voice would be dope.
@FAT COUNTRY Conrad is that you??
Wrestling podcast didn’t take off until Conrad started doing it his way. Now everybody has a podcast in wrestling and it’s all because of him. haters.

Probably RVD interferring since at No Mercy it was Austin vs. Angle vs. RVD.
Great point . Joe on point too lol
maybe William Regal's heel turn happens at Unforgiven, instead of 2 weeks later.

He's being very defensive, for godsake Kurt no one was accusing you of anything!
What are you talking about little kid?
You don't make sense. Who's accusing Kurt of anything?
