Heyy steff I wish you a happy new year! I was looking at your lashes: GIRL they’re long!!!! But since they are straight- mine are also like that- you could try the lash lift treatment and you will see the difference it’s done in lash salons they lift your long lashes with a semi permanent solution ❤ you will end up with semipermanent curled, lifted lashes
I’ve done it before and loved it! Will probably do again later this year.

CoverGirl instant cheekbones blushes are excellent little compacts with 2 blushes and the most beautiful highlight. They're old products but I highly highly recommend them. I get mine at Walmart. I in particular suggest sophisticated sable but really they're all great.

Hey Steff... wanted to let you know that revlon has a new foundation. I pre-ordered mine earlier and got it earlier this month. It's called Revlon illuminance skin caring foundation. The shade range is kinda hard to discern but maybe this will help. I'm complexion is a slight bit darker than yours and I bought shade 209 and it's a bit light for me but i can make it work. I usually wear 180 in colorstay (for reference) I hope it works for you if you try it. It definitely needs to be set with powder because I'm oily. She deeeewy!

Thanks for the review Steff! I think I'll pass on the eyeshadows as I prefer more matte formulas. How would you compare the bronzer to the l'oreal infallible bronzer? I picked up the mascara a while ago but haven't opened it yet, too many other ones on the go, lol. Always trust your opinion! 😊❤️
The LOreal is more matte than this one is. Both are really nice actually.
I feel like elf, wet wild and catrice made palettes like these that aren’t that expensive and are more balanced matte and shimmer-wise.

I did order 3 of these palettes...only because they were 3 for the price of 2. I don't think I ordered the all shimmer one with the blue just because they were all shimmers. I like the 2nd look best...very pretty. I also ordered one of the new Milani palettes...I think the smokey one. I'll let you know how it goes!

Hi Steff, does the CG bronzer have a glow to it, it looks like it might once you finished applying it? If so I'm sold, I love bronzer's with a glow like the physicians formula. Does the CG bronzer have any kind of scent?
I don't smell anything with the bronzer, but I do feel like it's similar in finish to the PF one, but I think PF has more of a glow.

I had the blush palette but passed it on to a friend. I just wasn't wowed by it. But the trublend concealer is one of my holy grails because the shade light porcelain is a perfect shade match. I only got back into cover girl when they went cruelty free.

These remind me a ton of the ELF bite size shadows. The one good thing about drugstore is you can always combine sales and coupons, because I def would not pay full prize for them!

The Jammies are to cute . I used to buy Cover girl 👧 and I still like them but I think 🤔 there’s other palettes 🎨 out there that are better. I’m glad that Cg. Has gone cruelty free. Bundle up and stay warm through this freeze 🥶. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 and enjoy your break.

Hallo Steff, the jammies are too cute! I am glad Covergirl has gone Cruelty free. I am just so over the "clean beauty " words. I am really hoping they do well. I think I will pass but who knows, maybe if in the store and I see it and grab one. I did declutter most of my drugstore palettes recently. I gave a lot away in fall to set of nieces visiting and just gave away a bunch more with last Saturday to some other of my nieces. Great seeing you up and better. lots of love thank you for another great review.

Imo, a palette, no matter what size, ought to provide shades that will create a complete look. None of the quads you had actually gave a well rounded look.
Only because I'm a cool toned lover, I preferred the last palette you used (smokey eye look), but that only had ONE matte!!!!
I really liked the lippy though, it went very well with the cool toned, smokey eye look.

I think these would have been better with 5 shades instead of 4. They are on the right track with the eyeshadow formula, but the textures in the palettes need to be revisited.
For $14 I could get a nine pan from colorpop with a better color story

With the eye palettes being more shimmer, it's like they want you to buy the whole collection to get a decent look! Which would be very pricey.... i prefer a matte heavy over shimmer.... not for me! You made them work though 💖

Those covergirl quads a just no worth the price.
First they are a "clean" formula with no preservatives so they go off quickly.
Second the amount of shadow is just 0.14 oz per palette. The elf bite size are 0.12 oz and the wet n wild quints are i think 0.21 oz.

Also if I remember correctly covergirl does have highlighters just not at ulta. They are in a square black packaging. It's supposed to be nice and glowy but not sparkly. I haven't tried it because I have way too many highlighters.
I agree, look to elf or WNW for these style of palettes. I'll be trying the new ones from Milani tomorrow!
@@SteffsBeautyStash I've been wondering about the new milani palettes. Hopefully they preform better than the bigger palettes they currently have. Milani has wonderful color stories but they dissapeare on my eyes in less than an hour.

I love that Covergirl went cruelty-free because in my personal opinion there is no excuse today to be testing any cosmetic products on animals. I don't like that they've chosen to use the "clean" branding because I think that's why they're charging so much. I don't hate that they're trying to put out eyeshadow because that is one area that I think the drugstore lacks overall, but 4 shades and hardly any mattes is not worth $14. You can get a 9-pan Colourpop palette for $14 and there are some good ones (Going Coconuts, That's Taupe, Making Mauves, etc.)
Totally agree with you on this. I wish they has made these 5 pans at least, that might have been able to save it.

These are two of my favorite eyelooks you've ever done. I always love all of your looks but these stand out and are gorgeous. I was watching you blend the mattes on the first palette and it looked really high quality....BUT...THE PRICES! It would be over 15 bucks with taxes for only 4 shades. Ugh. Disappointed in cover girl for the price and the layouts of the eyeshadow palettes. There are lots of shade overlapping when u look at all the palettes as a whole. Seems shady...they obviously want you to buy multiples. 👎
YES!! Overlapping is there! I did think they were on the right track with the formula, it feels updated and better than what was, but $14 is a no for me.
