Had to look this up bc my M5 reservoir was replaced by dealership before I purchased at about 25k mi. I’ve had this car for 6k miles and the warning light came on for coolant, will fill it and take it to the dealership. I now see why they made the aftermarket part. RK Autowerks is based in Dallas TX.
I’m looking to replace mine with this soon. There’s no leak from pipes or anything with this tank? I read something on Facebook someone saying the pipes will leak
Bake something and cover it in aluminum, take it out and wait 5 seconds. The aluminum should be lukewarm to the touch. Basically, aluminum is great for heat since it has a low heat capacity.
I installed it on my car too! but my question is not closed, can anyone tell me what about cooling? It's still aluminum, and metal retains heat longer than plastic!
Question? At the beginning of the video you did say it's about $1200.+ for that part?! With all the questionable issues that you had with the filling of the part. Basically it looks like that component was poorly designed and was way too quick to go to*Production!
I recently visited your TH-cam channel and enjoyed your content. However, I noticed that your videos are not ranking well due to some issues. I believe that if these issues are addressed, your videos will rank better.

@paveltawfeeq6975 This customer came back for service recently, and everything still looks good with no leaks.
Nice video :)
I have a question.
Don't you think that the aluminum tank will heat up more than the plastic one from the turbo?

Great video, any issues with tank rattling on the test drive?
There was nothing on the few test drives I took after the repair.

Where is your shop located?
We are in Maine!

The part is very high quality, and the customer has had the vehicle for a while now with no issues.
