    Update: So I played around with a build that uses this Infinite Lightbringer method, it turns out you don't actually need 600% Summoner, you can still build max MP by spamming Lightbringer without it, but instead of gaining 10% of an MP bar everytime, you only gain about 5%, but it's not a big deal as when you are in Lightbringer, you have infinite Soul Shielding, so the actual best way to build up Max MP is to activate Lightbringer with the job who's gear as the required affinities and Soul Shield attacks to quickly build it up, then activate Lightbringer again to refill all the Max MP with actual MP.
    *Edit: Ok, as it turns out, percentage of a blessing doesn't actually effect the potency of said blessing, only 600% Summoner does, the percentage of a blessing raises certain stats, not effectiveness.*

      My biggest problem now is getting to the 100th floor 20 to 100 is tough and there aren't any build guides for that in between

      @@richardbigham4138 My advice would be to use the Ultima version of Berserker (Where you can't be broken even if your break gauge goes to zero) and have Runic Protection on so that any damage you take goes to your MP instead of your HP, have 400% Dark Knight with both Near Death Damage Dealt and Near Death Damage Taken effects on your gear, then get good at parrying (120% Liberator will increase parrying window) and have Parry: MP Recovery + Stats on your Berserker job so you can recover MP everytime you parry. This way you will pretty much be immune to damage.
      Another tip is 600% Berserker has a perk to where Lightbringer will activate when you Soul-Burst an enemy, if you have 600% Cyclic Warrior equipped onto gear with Leviathan Blessing as your set blessing, these means that everytime you Soul-Burst an enemy, you earn much more MP and Max MP instantly everytime you Soul-Burst an enemy, which is another option for regaining MP so you don't have to rely on parrying for your MP gains. You will also regenerate MP whenever Lightbringer is active with 400% Berserker too.
      Also don't forget to feed the monsters too, they give various bonus stats and perks, one of which is monster memories which speeds up their quest completion and doesn't get reset in the Rift Labyrinth. You can even feed them from the monster menu when you interact with Astos, so you don't have to pull out one individually (You still have to if you want to collect monster memories and job crests from them). Also have the Courel Monster out because she has a perk where monster quests get completed faster.

      @@TheCyclicGamer I've been using a berserker build, and I find the MP you'd gain from cyclic warrior overkill. I just make sure the secondary job has the infinite lightbringer build, then the normal MP recovery from soul burst and the MP recovery from 400% berserker is plenty to sustain MP. And if MP does actually get low, say I'm holding a cyclone rush for a long time for whatever reason, just swap to my secondary job and hit lightbringer/dimension bringer and I'm full MP again.

    I appreciate that this isn't just a showcase and a 3 second flash of stats, I've been looking for a more comprehensive guide for a while and can't find much.
    There's also quite a few videos floating around showcasing some builds that can do one shot damage but they're also usually glass cannons.

    I don't know if you are still replying to comments, but I have a question.
    Great video by the way, it helps me understand what I need to work toward in the future. I just unlocked the rift and working on getting to higher floors.
    My question is, what is the Demon Lord sub class do in your build? You show it for a couple of seconds, but then mainly focused on the Cyclic Warrior for majority of the video.
    If you still responding to comments and answer my question, thank you!

      It's just what I use alongside Primal Warrior build, all it does is give Sage users the ability to cast Meteor.

    I know I'm late to the party, but is it only Lightbringer specifically? It's all I ever see in these type vids, never Chaosbringer. I figure there's gotta be a reason; I just don't know what it is.

    • @TheCyclicGamer
      @TheCyclicGamer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It can work with Dimension Bringer but it doesn't last long even with Lightbringer Duration +, but yes it's specifically for Lightbringer as Chaosbringer expends all your MP and Max MP, whereas Lightbringer only expends two MP and two Max MP bars (The in-game description for Lightbringer is MISLEADING when it comes to that).
      I think this method does make Chaosbringer obsolete though because the selling point of Chaosbringer is being able to use any of your abilities without expending MP at the cost of losing all your Max MP, but with this method you can just regenerate all your MP instantly by just activating Lightbringer, providing you have two bars of MP available, so you just have infinite MP. It's like being in Extra Mode without actually being in Extra Mode.

      @TheCyclicGamer What build did you use to climb the floors up to 101 for the lvl300 limit breaks? Just beat dlc2 and I'm working on getting through dlc3, any farming methods would be helpful too as I don't have the chaos rift boss rush mission yet

      @@Siphx_n I used a Duelist (Ultima)/Monk build that was centered around dealing immense critical break damage to enemies using Icy Mangling (Ultima version of Weak Spot) + Chronostasis. Duelist was the main job and Monk the supportive job which used the Lightbringer Spam Method (But wasn't infinite). The command abilities were Invisible, Barrage, and Lunatic.
      For Duelist, primary blessing was Odin since it inflicts a status ailment on physical attacks, and I had 400% Tyrant for critical damage dealt on enemies inflicted with a status ailement, 600% Hunter for additional damage dealt based on agility, and some other stuff I can't quite remember.
      I'll have to post a tutorial video for you, but know that it's a more powerful version than the one you're going to make since you're still at the lower parts of the Rift. I'd actually recommend using the lower levels of the rift to farm quests and monster memories because floor 101 and above get more and more difficult really fast.

      @TheCyclicGamer can't activate Lightbringer at 2 MP Bars if you have the additional cost Trial. At least in my game, even with the Void Knight 400 Affinity.

    • @TheCyclicGamer
      @TheCyclicGamer  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Oh that's what you meant, no I'm afraid not. There's two sides to Ability MP use in SoP; MP Cost and MP Requirement.
      MP Cost is how much MP is taken when you activate an ability, but MP Requirement is the minimum MP needed to activate the ability in the first place.
      No ability in SoP can have their MP Requirement reduced in order to activate. Lightbringer will always require you to have 400 MP (2 Bars) in order activate it, the only thing 400% Void Knight does is reduce the MP Cost of Command Abilities, Lightbringer included, but not it's MP Requirement.

    how do you increase blessing strength

    • @TheCyclicGamer
      @TheCyclicGamer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you mean the potency of the blessing's effect, 600% Summoner Affinity does that.
      If you mean percentage, then by fusing two pieces of gear that have the same blessing.
      The gear you're fusing onto has higher blessing percentage than the gear you're fusing from, then the percentage only goes up by like one point, but if the percentage is lower, than it replaces it with the percentage of the gear you're fusing from.
      Bear in mind that percentage doesn't affect the potency of the blessing, it only effects certain stats.

    What happens if you use sage and evoker? Will they null each other out?

    • @TheCyclicGamer
      @TheCyclicGamer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, affinities do not null each other out.
      60%/120% Sage will only give you more MP per soul shield, but not Max MP. 60%/120% Evoker gives you an additional Max MP boost on a soul shield as it raises Ally's Max MP, including Jack's.

    Why near death damage? You are always at Full HP and Never come to the Point auf near death / low HP - maybe you can explain how ist works of what im understanding wrong.

    • @TheCyclicGamer
      @TheCyclicGamer  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      When you have 400% Dark Knight Affinity, you get a perk where all Near Death effects become active at all times, meaning Near Death effects trigger regardless of the state of your health.
      For example, one Near Death effect is 250% Berserker's Affinity perk, which grants Protect and Shell when you are near death. By itself it will only give you Protect and Shell only when your health is low, but when paired with 400% Dark Knight Affinity, you will instead have Protect and Shell active at all times, your health won't have to be low.
