Hi.true master at work with limited resources, I like the way you make your own power supplies, not everyone has fancy variable powersupplies.Job well done, also saving planet from landfill off e- waste.keep it up
Thanks for telling the brand of tv and the kind of faulty.and the value of faulty component also the part of tv and this tv was mainboard. Cos I write and keep them for future!
Yeah, I agree that using the candle wax technique is really smart. I normally use isopropyl alcohol to find the shorted caps. Hadn't thought of the wax. Keep it up bro!!!
You very talented in diagnostic cercuits and tracking power lines...great job sir . I'm subbed to your channel and learning more from you .. keep uploading and sharig knowledge..good luck from Algeria..

Many thanks for an excellent video. Please can you tell me how you know which way around these tiny capacitor go. I thought capacitors were polarised? Thank you.
Hmmm seems you are a good detective. Good job 👍. 1 things I didn't catch you after you removed the capacitor when it's over heating. Did you replace it by a new capcitor. And how you know how much volts and uf capcitor should be replaced. Thanks.
Thank for watching. I don't know the exact value of the capacitor I have replaced. It's maybe about 4.7 uf to 10 uf 50 volts. It shows in the video that it doesn't have value on it. Its common uses of those capacitors are for decoupling or filter, Its does not informant the exact value whether 2.2, 4.7, 10, 22. microfarad It's okay any of this.
@@tevzTVTevatronics thanks a lot I really appreciate your effort. And thanks for replying. I will keep following as much as you upload more videos. Am learning a lot from you. Keep save. Lord bless you and your family ❤️.
@@tevzTVTevatronics yes I seen almost they doesn't written on the capcitors or on the pcb. Only location the write. Thanks a lot for sharing these knowledge. 😊👍
Good job man! I've not seen the wax trick yet! Have you ever seen for example 4 thin red vertical lines develop on a flat screen TV? If so what causes it?
See the reply to Fardeen, above. Most of the time these components can be removed/eliminated without problem; they are only for noise protection, and do not usually affect the performance of the circuit.

Thank you for sharing... is 3v 6amps safe for the other parts of the mainboard?
The shorted line is 5 volts. It's safe to inject 3 volts to 6 amps unless you inject more than 5 volts.

Hi! what if i use str W6052 isn't ok?
There seems to be a high failure rate with these small caps. Is there a reason for their failure? Best wishes...... John
Good job man! I've not seen the wax trick yet!
Have you ever seen for example 4 thin red vertical lines develop on a flat screen TV?
If so what causes it?
Some display panel may have that line in the long run. It's not durable as you know.
@@tevzTVTevatronics Yea it started out as one vertical red line that looks like what a bar code scanner emits, then 2 then 3 now 4 lines.
I recommend old version of flir one thermal camera. Same resolution as new model.
If only I have the money to buy that camera.

Please tell all details related next time.
