I've already had better days. I'm hopeful that next week will be good. Yesterday it was 25c and enjoyed it a lot. I was also able to make up the time I lost by bad weather. Now I'm a few days at the home of a friend in Amsterdam. So making all the video's now and in a few days I'll leave again towards the north. Have a great day.
Have a nice trip Nico. 10c is a little cold, but nice :). I travel every morning at 12c and I still cover my ears and have a light waterproof jacket, byt no gloves are needed over 10c. I remember when I started cycling to work. 10c was so cold, now it's nice :). Today I have no problem to travel in winter in -10c :). But I don't cycle in rain or when there is ice on the road. That is something I don't do. Enjoy your trip Nico.
Indeed, you get used to cold while riding. I used to be a mailman during very bad winters. As long as I kept moving and was well dressed I was fine. I didn't bring rain clothes, so don't want to ride in the rain either. Weather forecast just isn't reliable enough to know. I often started my trips a month earlier and had better weather then now. Then yesterday it was 25C and I got burned. Greetings.
@@NicoDsSBCs For me light clothing, but windproof is the key to get worm while riding. Only wotherproof clothing is truly windproof. In -10 I still have only a functional sport tshirt and rain jacket and it's enough. Of course cover of ears with a functional scarf and gloves under +10c. I have a funny story. Once I had my temp meter placed wrong at home and the sun shinned on it only for about an hour in the morning. It showed +17c. Great, I'm going in Tshirt only. While riding I knew something was off, it was uncomfortable. In fact I felt it immediately, but I thought It's only a feeling. When I stopped at traffic lights and seen my breath I just knew it's not +17 degrees. It's a 17-20min ride to my work. All colegues were stunned. It was +4c. 🙂. I wonder what the people in cars riding asside me have thought.
I hope the weather and temperature improves for you. If it's any consolation, it looks like a lot of us in North Western Europe are getting bad weather at the moment - here in the UK it is just rain, rain, rain too.
Hi. I already had good weather. Yesterday nearly 25c. I was burned. Today again rain, but I'm not sleeping in my tent this week. So I'm doing the video edits now and by the time I'll leave again I'll be back up to date. This video is from more than a week ago. You can't control the weather. I now also have better gear, you'll see that in episode 4 I think. Greetings.
@@NicoDsSBCs I do enjoy all of your videos as a Linux/SBC freak and because I love the Benelux area of Europe as well, I also enjoy watching your travels too. I hope the weather stays as good as possible. I was also impressed with functionality of the solar panel - impressive recharge rate for one so small.
@@terrydaktyllus1320 Thank you, I'm glad to hear people like my content. Indeed. The solar panel is awesome. You only need lots of sun for it to be very usable. On very cloudy and rainy days it nearly does nothing. Now summer comes nearer the panels will have more sun-time. So I hope I'll always be able to keep everything charged.
@@NicoDsSBCs That's where we disagree - Trappist beer is okay but proper British real ale is the best in the world. And German wheat beer and Blonde Leffe gives me the most terrible wind. If I want bubbles in my beer, I just take a bath.
@@terrydaktyllus1320 Well, that's why there's lots of beers, for everyone its taste there's something. Leffe is called woman beer in Belgium. Men drink Duvel, I can't stand Duvel. Makes me puke every time.

Thanks for sharing! That is a bit chilly. I hope you get some warm days during the trip as well! 22-25c is my kind of weather 😉

Ill also be having a few Stella's tonight.
I always find it weird when seeing shops in other countries they always seem to have Stella. It's a good light beer. But ain't no Blone Leffe 😆
