Apparently, it was to do with the fact that they wanted to make hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy coupled with the fact that they didn’t really want to commit to a seriies straight away and also the goodies weren’t in a long time contract with bbc

Missing a few alterations on the titles, like Seasons 2, 4, 7 and 8. They have different edits and sound effects applied to them.
This is missing The Series 4 intro, which was a slightly different edit of Series 3.

Show lost it's way when it went to ITV. Only lasted one season there. Corporation claimed it was too expensive a show to make.
