What was the cause of death? Atmospheric depression. You mean Atmospheric Decompression? Naw, we saved him from that. The atmosphere in the medbay depressed him so much he lost the will to live.
How to play Cutlass Red: 1) Buy 10 pistols at any gun shop 2) Set spawn in bed 3) Park ship right outside the door at any bunker mission 4) YOLO mission, inevitably die several times 5) When respawn, equip pistol and walk 10 feet from bed 6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 until victory Easily the best use for this ship until we get real medical gameplay. This is now THE ship to use for bunker missions (instead of dying and respawning back at L19 and spending 15 minutes to get back to the damn location.)
Cheers for the vid, T/A :D Great little ship, the Cutty Red. Hoping we Apollo owners get one as a loaner once it hits the PU live servers. Having an Andromeda is nice an' all, but just seems a bit "eh?"
youre the only one so far to have a really good look around. so there is scu storage next to the staff beds and next to each medical bed, and the gap between the back entrance and the air lock door is indeed big enough for a strecher. cos we were debating where the scu goes and people were ssying in the back but then you couldnt get in or change the components on the wall. so CIG have designed this one properly. made me laugh about dr tactical advance. honestly makes me want to be a doctor as well. lovely ship.
The back is big enough for a Cyclone too. Just tested it, door closed and all from mircotech to midspace and then dropped it out of space before logging. Was a friends so couldnt keep it but he had logged off. So adventure hahah...
Crane hooks. for sling loading or maybe for replacing the center section I have ALWAYS wanted to buy this one. Its the main ship that got me interested in Star Citizen. Made me have all kinds of ideas for a Medical Org.
I wonder what those arms on the front of the Cutty are for, and whether the Red would actually use them. I suspect the lighting should be bright, at least in the mid-section.
Those anchor points on the belly are probably for tie-down purposes. Typically, an external hoist will have some sort of mechanism for emergency release in the event it's required to drop a load and save the ship. That would be my hunch, at any rate.
Always wanted to be medic on the final game, and I will upgrade my black to this beauty as soon as the gameplay will be added to SC. This for this presentation.
I am the only one who really hates the interior and I already commented on multiple videos lol. That interior is far, far away from looking like medical ship...it looks like it was designed by someone who didn't even think about it for a minute...When they design medical ship they should make it at least a little bit realistic. Nobody would make a med bay like that. You will have people bleeding inside, you don't want complicated interior which is almost impossible to make sterile, you want smooth floors, easy to wipe, protected walls (not some cables sticking out from the walls near your bed). You want light /white/grey surface, lots of lights to be able to see every little detail on your patients... maybe not a washroom in the pilot's cockpit?.. maybe even a stupid sink, so someone can wash their hands... Wide doors when you can roll some kind of mobile bed. Not a ramp where you need climbing gear to get up...It's obviously a civilian ship so maybe make it look like one inside. I have much more complaints but whatever
Exterior i have no complaints about, its the part with the beds, it just looks crap tbh, the floor needs to be smooth for easy wipe down, the walls need a cover and fake screens and medical style stuff cannisters and medical bins etc, the round doors look odd too, should have simply been one small sliding door like the black, the yellow hand rails and markings should be red too or white, i could go on lol
Ive been waiting for this ship for yrs and im disappointed with the interior. Fucking lazy ass design for the only medical ship at the entry level. So pissed ive thought about selling off my account bc this seams to be a pattern for CIG. Sell the outside fuck up the inside.
I like the illegal Drs. License feel of this ship hahaha! Like the Dr. That all the ladies go to in Mexico to get those "body" jobs done...Hopefully there will be an underworld/back alley bartering and payments system for this gameplay.
And then the patient woke up and found his whole skeleton was missing and the doctor was never heard from again ...... .....so anyways that's how I lost my medical license. -TF2.
The Ursa has those same I bolts on top. Back then the Redeemer was a hybrid dropship it was able to carry one like the Pelican from Halo carried a warthog. The bolts are still there through multiple remodels which makes me think they're still considering the mechanic down the line
Can’t wait for the medical role, I’m bad at combat as pilot so getting to still be apart of the fun is nice and it’ll change the gameplay tactics when npcs get the love they deserve and needing a combat medic for those PVE jobs will be sweet
The Hooks are for the "toublesome patients" :) And about the buttons next to the ramp on the old Cutty Black, it works AFTER you turn on the engine (Never works the first time you get in the ship). but once engine is on you can use it to open/close door. Weird. Ships looks pretty in red.
lower hooks seem like cargo or care flight type hoist which can in emergency evac from combat area load grav lift bed they have in preview jump in move to safer spot as players are within shields of ship and then set back down in safer areas to properly load up patient in the ICU
Lighting better when systems are powered up , if your injured beds let you activate a heal , turret on top has massive spot light. ,remote . Side locks are opened when pressurised environment on other side ie. docking
Bruh popped in here for the first time... My ears have been blessed by one of the MOST soothing voices of all time. You sexy, sexy man ! Also I liked the tour captain !
As the padeyes dont have a mechanical feature on them I doubt they're for a medical purpose. My guess would be for shackling the ship down in a storage manner for long voyages on a larger ship
Those hooks are on the Cutlass black also and the ursa rover has something like them on its roof I've often wondered if at somepoint the Cutlass might be able to air lift them and other stuff.
One year later... It’s an FPS terminator machine. You go into the hot zone and run out and the farthest you can be killed is the Red. Either they destroy it or you will revive again to reenter the fray.
I wonder if the hooks on the bottom would be for larger multi-person escape pods (like in the 890). You wouldn't have access to it, but you could lock one on to the underside of the ship and transport it to safety. The side doors obviously could seal onto those same pods, but if you needed to rescue multiple pods, you could seal onto two and tow the third.
I hope when proper Medical gameplay is implemented it's more an involved process healing someone, think Star Trek doctors using scanners to diagnose for healing, otherwise awesome ship interior
Sure, it's a little ungainly and awkward looking. Yet, when the raid has gone wrong, and you're lying there wondering how long you can live without that particular organ, it sure is the prettiest thing in the sky.
A little tip for your next ship walkthrough. Dont turn off the power, just turn off the engine. The lights in the ship will stay on then, and we can see things more clearly ;)
Something I hope for. The cutlass black having the option of either having those side doors or a airlock. Because I would choose the airlock lol. Just seems better to my in a way. Depends on the situation needed.
I think its cool but I just can't like drake ships, I just don't find them aesthetically appealing. Waiting for a more modern, military styled ship like the Apollo to be flyable before I get something for medical purposes.
The hooks are probably for fixing the cutlass to a Kraken. After all, they would be on the outside of the carrier and it's foolish to rely on electromagnets alone when some chains and hooks would allow for a more foolproof (and probably cheaper) method. And this is a Drake ship, so the interior lights are upmarket optional extras, obviously. I for one would gladly swap the flashing lights for a dining table behind the pilot seat and a privacy curtain around the toilet.
can anyone tell me what the purpose is to those two multi-jointed yet non-moving 'leg' things are that rest under the foward winglets? did those two front wings previously rotate for VTOL, as the main engines do, and those curious, and currently pointless, bits i mentioned functioned as part of the landing mechanics? if they were once part of the landing system but the ship has been revamped to exclude their use, whey are they still there?
They actually have hardpoints on for various attachments, for example, the Cutlass Black has tractor beam attachments on them , well, once there implemented in game, as for the red, no one knows yet, but it all serves a purpose :)
@@seliasbrood thank you for confirming that they are more than just digitous greeblies. even if it's just a singular purpose, i'm happy to know they serve one.
I wish one of the side airlock doors was just a ramp door (or steps up that dont require a ladder climb) not sure why 2 airlock EVA hatches is needed. That being said, I LOVE MY RED! (He didn't even review the scanner capabilities,,lol)
I'm waiting for the Cutlass Blue, hoping it will have the improvements above the Cutty Black and Red, including the rounded nose like the original Blue. ;-) If I get a Blue, I'll not need the Black but the Black is my "Package" ship (I don't remember how?) so I need to find a way to transfer the "Package" from the Black to the Blue or perfectible to my Avenger Renegade. ;-)
It would be a bit demented if someone criminally opened that airlock with patients in the bed. This should be a good med ship for land/space. It won't have the top facilities like the Apollo and above, but still very useful.
to shoot or not to shoot the red-skinned /medical/ ship... Actually all pirates in the PU have red skins on their ships :) My personal aggro-distance is ~10km for everyone

As much as i like the outside, it really IS kinda dark and gloomy on the inside - I mean, for a 3rd Millennium ambulance...
We know that will improve the lights
You say that, but this would be absolutely luxury for the 41st mellennium. (what with grim dark and only war and what not)
Seems like you'd want to paint that inside white so you can see the blood and keep it clean ...
@@Quazgar_of_the_North Paint it red ;) You dont see it then :)
