@@John-qs3ih You're silly. The Cutlass IS the toilet. It's OEM standard that way. The fact that Drake doesn't charge extra for this feature shows that they respect blue collar worker's time and dollar.
Big fan of this ship, upgraded my 2nd starter to it. I hope they give optional added cover for the back though eventually.

the ship reminds me of mechanical mouse an head phones inside the ship i kinda see the pick up feel of the ship too

I think the Nomad is fast becoming one of my favourite everyday ships. It is so good for using with the ROC.
I agree, its becoming one of my favorites, too. I had planned to go campervaning around the galaxy with the mustang beta and was really bummed after the rework, but this seems like the perfect replacement!

I think the Nomads cockpit makes sense when you think about who Consolidated Outland are.
I mean it's hinted in the name, Consolidated Outland - Outland, like frontier outposts.
They make a colony building ship.
They make civilian transports and local militia fighters.
They are modern tech for a new frontier mindset.
And the Nomad is a semi-self sufficient multi purpose ship with long range (when Hydrogen use is balanced).
Its cockpit feels like a forklift, cos it's a load lifter, for colonies to move stuff around.
Consolidated outland aren't industrial in the same sense as MISC or Drake, they are deep space entrepreneurs.
I love this ship. It screams utility.
Also screams campervan :D

It's a nifty ship. And if someone hops in back take them to very high altitudes (not in space) and they'll freeze in short order. If they've got cold armor, go somewhere hot. :)
Overall quite impressed with this ship. Versatile starter while not throwing out the rule book.

Im really liking it.
With the 3 shields you could upgrade one to stealth and turn other 2 off, when wanting to be sneaky.
For the back, id like to see the force field on here, maybe give it a zap power to give robbers and hitchhikers a shock.
Would like to see some jump seats back there as well.
Inside id like to see that window area get pushed back and a scanner seat put in and some servers for data running, would make a sweet stealthy hacker.
I wonder if they could have added a couple of small portholes in the rear ridge after the cockpit to give some outside view from the living quarters.

That rear window could have been a bit bigger, or maybe 3 of them next to each other, with the side two inverted. I would have liked to see forcefields for the cargo area. The design would have been the same, but feel more secure.

You're the only person I've seen to catch the components in the ceiling.
everything but the cargo looks cool.
I can't imagine the cargo working in the full game. Can you imagine someone just shooting all of your goods? or something going wrong with the pads and all your stuff just floats off? This could work as maybe a drop ship, but I really don't get the design for any sort of transportation otherwise
The more I see it, the more I like the design of it (besides the claustrophobic part of the interior).
While it may have downsides, the back of it would open some interesting options.
If you move around in a fleet, you could use it to transfer supplies among ships.
For example, you could use a BMM/Kraken as Hub, to transfer things to from i.E. a Endeavor with the Biodomes to the storage-limited ships like a Hammerhead etc.
Or you could (try to) fill up transport ships (or a Bazaar...) with whatever a Orion, Reclaimer etc. put out and have them sell it off while the Orion/Reclaimer keep doing their thing.
Another interesting thing to do could be hot-dropping Marines in Titan Suits, since there's no Interior/Door to limit it.
I think an unrestricted view "no struts" is more of a high end ship manufacturer thing, leaving out the cutty blue that's for for function as a police cruiser.
I think it would be nice if there was some sort of foldable garage door-like cover that one could pull over the cargo. Not a neccesity but as an option.
I just bought the RSI Galaxy. That ship would make a great tur once it is done.

Wish the toilet had at least a fold-out sink if not a shower. Given the props on the shelf there I wouldn't feel quite comfortable shaving and brushing my teeth in a toilet 😆

I know this is two years old, but I think the sound issues you experienced isn't an issue. There is no sound in space so maybe that's why you couldn't hear the landing gear or guns.

If someone undesired jumps in the back just head for the nearest planet and fly upside down to watch them plummet.
Remember the Mustang campervan ship they ruined by turning it into a flying prison cell? I think I've just found the replacement.
Consolidated F150 ..... is a cool and useful ship. Pilot display is a bit bright. Wish I could dim. Great vids TA. Cheers!
missed weapon lockers at sides of entrance door. also the 2 guns on the top are hardpoints not a turret
It's a weird little ship. A nice step between Avenger and Cutlass. Unlike TA, I hate the cockpit. But it's the smallest ship that can carry a ROC, so I had to get one.
No avionics access because there aren't any physicalized avionics components in game yet. Btw I can see this ship getting a lot of use in game, it's a great alternative to the Avenger Titan.

The fact that this tiny _starter_ ship costs $100 (without the base game) pretty much says it all. Well, I hope they put that money to good use.
I imagine you'll get people shooting cargo off of it, choice target for pirates.
But a good little money earner.
Ive never playedthe game so idk about ship modules but if there was a cloaking device of sorts that ship would definitely suit well
There isn't cloaking in the traditional sense, but you can hide your energy emissions to not be detected

I would love this ship if it didn’t remind me of the Asp from Elite Dangerous which all I remember about that ship is the feckin annoying droning sound it used to make constantly 😂
Yeeeeaaaaahhhh, I tried the Asp after playing for months with an Imperial Eagle that I mostly upgraded to A rated internals except for a couple things, because I felt the ship was more maneuverable otherwise.
Needless to say I didn't like it at all.
The interior hurts my eyes...

It seems TA has now realized that SC is not a game development. It never was a game development. It was always and only ever been a feature creep scam. Everything CIG do (literally everything; including lying about the revenue they've raised), is to distract you from the fact, that the game (as promised) is impossible to make. CIG always knew this too; it was always a scam of big lies. So double down on your ship purchases, if you must, because that won't help making the impossible come true. It's crazy how many backers think this will work; lol. It looks like TA has finally realized this and I feel for him in this inevitable moment of dream destruction that we all must go through.
