Just bought this bad boy yesterday from Lowe’s! I’ve never owned a riding mower and this will be my first. Going to make sure I watch your videos to learn how to operate and take care it
Nice zero turn for the price. I like that you can add most options the more expensive models come with. It kind of let's you customize it to suit your wants or needs.
Anyone know the part number for the lid to that little storage cubby on the side opposite of the side with the cup holder? Absolutely love this mower I’m about 8 cuts into it on our hilly ~two acres
Could you guys make a video of why the John Deere z track deck wont lock when the pedal is pressed down? I think it’s simple I just haven’t looked and haven’t found a video on that.
I watched the attachment video didn’t see anything about adding a hitch on the back is that because there isn’t one for this mower? Also is there a dethatcher attachment for this mower
So just got one and was pumped, got six acres of land and was ready. got it to start up, followed the directions and read it more then twice over, but it won’t move forward or backwards. I’m slightly afraid that the Lowe’s movers, came in a big truck, dropped it off and left, messed something up, but I hope it’s just something I’m missing, I move the handles forward nothing, just engine runs, blades work. Just not moving. Any suggestions?(it started to rain so hopefully tomorrow I’ll figure it out but was just curious that maybe I’m missing something. It’s a Z325E (edit) I think I found the solution, will know in the morning. Yeah I guess should have read it six times, it was simple, pull the disengaged things on the back.(metal pieces on either side)
Brent, someone else had said on another video that the briggs and stratton engine theyre putting on these now are not the intek engines they used to use. He said it was an exi Briggs and stratton engine. Can you confirm this, and perhaps highlight some of the differences between the two? I know some folks had complained befire about the camshaft in the intek engines.
Just purchased a 2023 with a 48-in deck. Bought the lawn mower right off home Depot floor. My husband and I have spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to start it. We started exactly as it says to in the book and it just won't start. It doesn't turn over it just doesn't do anything.
Well, unfortunately, the mulch kit is a piece of junk and gets tore up by the blades after being installed by a John Deere dealer. So fortunately, I have 30 days to take them back. It’s going back.

Awesome! Have you gotten to use it yet? If so, how did it go?
@@WesternEquipment yup! I mowed the front yard this weekend and works great! Glad I bought the 2023 model!
Just got back from my dealer this morning, I looked at this one, the Z330R and Z530M. Went with the Z530M after in-person comparison.
Nice! How are you liking it?

Yes, this is the beauty of the John Deere lineup. What model would you get or do you already have one?
@@WesternEquipment I really like the z330,but a z325 would be ok too.
That was amazing. Thank you. We are new to Ride ons. Just bought a property with an acre.

Do you mean just n the Z3 series?
@@WesternEquipment no it was the 530m. I did manage to figure out that the back deck adjuster nut was over tightened and fixed it though.
You guys should do a series on slope test and how well each mower does with cut quality and grip.
Stay tuned! We will be doing some testing on this soon.
Great video! John Deere certainly made the much needed improvements for the Z300s vs the previous year models.
Yes! It needed to happen for sure. Do you have one of these?
How do install a hitch on the back on z315e. What type of screws and how you the muffler heat shield.
How is this different from the Z345m?
I watched the attachment video didn’t see anything about adding a hitch on the back is that because there isn’t one for this mower? Also is there a dethatcher attachment for this mower
Do you have a vid on how to install the light kit
Not yet, but hopefully I will get to do one soon. Stay tuned on our other channel 247Parts for installs.

Im trying to find the disengaged things you talk about in the manual. I cant seem to find them. Where are they exactly?
I'm an idiot, I found them.
Does the spiders for front wheel shelves have bearing or plastic shelves?
Hey Brent I seen one of you're videos a week or so ago about a trimmer rack for a zero turn do you have one in stock where you are at
You could check on our parts website 247Parts.com and if it is not listed then you can call the service line and they should be able to find you one.
Just bought this one from Lowe’s. Having it delivered in 3-4 days because a John Deere member needs to service it before it’s delivered to me
Awesome! Have you gotten it yet?
?
I gave you like, but I really need to know how to change the belt.
Do you have a video of how to put the belt on
Yes! Got check out our other channel 247Parts, it is on there!

I will dig into this and see if I can get a video out on the differences. Thanks for the idea!
@@WesternEquipment Thatll be awesome, thanks

Interesting... So you have the control levers in the out position, throttle up, and blade button in the down position?
@@WesternEquipment yes
@@lindamcallister4925did you end up fixing the problem?
It ain’t got no gas in it
Any recommendations for affordable residential john deeres? I have 2 acres to mow and this deck looks kind of weak imo
This is going to be the most affordable of the John Deere zero turn mowers. The tractor style mowers get down cheaper if you go that route.
@@WesternEquipment What would be the best quality wise out of the 300 series?
I saw this in n their site for 300$ is that right??
Fantastic video.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Diagram for belt
How the hell do you start it up then drive it???????
I got one and I don’t even know how to start it. At Lowe’s they didn’t even know how to
Just got my 315e delivered from Home Depot, came with a dead battery…
Did you really say run a blower under the deck to dry it after washing it out?!?!?😂😂😂
John Deere recommends using a hair dryer until thoroughly dry.
Ya..... Try changing the drive belt and you'll be astonished at the incompetence of John Deere engineering.
Well, unfortunately, the mulch kit is a piece of junk and gets tore up by the blades after being installed by a John Deere dealer. So fortunately, I have 30 days to take them back. It’s going back.
Junk......bs engine, stamped deck.....btw Deere is moving production to mexico!......I went with a cub cadet.......better!
Absolutely hate stamped decks. Most of them suck big time.
Forget John deer
Woke woke
Give it time. We all know the world is always changing.
Jesus Christ get to the point dude. I just need you to tell me how to turn it on.
