@@browdoe isshin doesn’t get that much harder because youre supposed to posture break him every phase but 3rd, DOH gets a lot harder because its a health only kill.
I would say that it depends on your health. If midir one shots you it's OK, because you can just no-hit him so easily, but if friede one shots you, you'll just have to circle around her for half an hour.
Gael I found to be the best fight in the series but a little on the easier side I wish he had like twice the health. Friede is pretty tough though none of her individual phases are that bad it’s just a war of attrition. Nameless king was the hardest for me by far but that only because I played 1-3 without any dlc then replayed them again for each dlc so nameless king was the first really hard boss but by the time I beat the series and all dlc I had gotten good enough that the ds3 dlc was just moderately challenging with midir and gael both taking less than an hour
Glock saint was the most enjoyable boss fight I've ever experienced on a from software game. After learning his attacks that is. Before that, I swear my rage was gonna make me spontaneously combust.
That’s because Nameless king is more recognizable, but definitely not hardest. In my opinion though Friede is the hardest to me so far (haven’t fought Gael yet)
@@mrmeme6530 nameless king is optional so it depends how leveled you are, if you fight him right after ocirus (around level 70) he definitely is the hardest. But if you’ve beat the game and fight him last it’s not that bad
Yeah Alonne was much harder imo since he was so aggressive. Fume Knight was a lot of fun to fight but once you got his rhythm it was very easy to dodge all of his attacks while dealing damage back and healing safely was not an issue either.
Laurence was not even funny how hard it was, my best friend who got me into souls couldn't beat him, and he's damn gud! My dog would start whimpering and crying at the sight of Laurence. When I finally felled that mfka, I called my best friend, he said "You're either calling to tell me you killed him or broke your ps4 controller." Lol
The only thing hot here is Radahn’s Great Rune. It canonically emits great heat from within itself in order to burn and stave off the Scarlet Rot. It’s the reason he isn’t already dead by the time we fight him. Radahn’s Great Rune is truly a testament to the man’s unbreakable will, even in the tragic state of defilement we face him in.
Every time Maliketh does his AOE attacks, get behind him. You could get a few hits in. I've been able to break his poise a few times using the basic longsword's weapon art. His slow over head swing also leaves him open to a hit or two, though it can be hard to judge when is the right opportunity to dodge it. As another pointed out. Maliketh is hard but pretty fair. Melania... Not so much. Melania's water fowl dance is pretty much impossible to dodge without exploitative weapon arts, such as bloodhound step, and she heals every time she hits you (even if you block).
@@xxfalconarasxx5659 I can perfectly dodge waterfowl it isn't hard once you know what you doing. Run away from the first two, roll into the third and away from the forth if you do it right the fifth and sixth won't even be near you and its the same for the second phase.
@@jaydimmick8554 its impossible to create enough distance to avoid the first one IF you are too close to her (melee range). ALSO you looked up how to dodge the attack, not saying i'm against that, but it shows that the attack is unintuitive and unfair.
I deafeated him on 3rd try😅, it was pretty easy for me. Almost all of DS3 bosses were so easy, even Gael I beated him on 1st try I think the nameless king was the hardest, it took me about two hours to deafeat him😅.
I think that most people wouldn't find demon prince hard since you arrive there at a point where you're already op, I'd say, on your first run, sulyvahn is by far the biggest bitch
I personally hate the twin lothric princes. They don't have all that outrageous of a moveset, which is why it pissed me off even more to die to. Turned out I was getting my ass beat because I was using a colossal greatsword. I originally beat them using lothric straight sword. Was trying ring knight paired greatswords. Yeah a Dex build is way better against the princes. Against midir, strength is better. Stronger pokes.
Very descent list! I finally got a PS5 and I’m surprised the Maneaters are EVEN BUGGIER than PS3. Thank god for multi-directional rolling cause at least they felt way easier on gameplay… that had to be reset on some playtroughs because they literally disappeared forever.
I thought I was smart playing the dlc as soon as I can so I level up for the main game but that just made me finish the dlc in 12 hours and I started the dlc around level 20 and I almost gave up at ludwig second phase I didn't know there was a summon so I just fought him for 2-3 hours the other bosses where easier and Lady Maria was a great fight but not impossible the parying was easy but omg orphan of kos fucked me like no other boss it took me 5 hours and I never played the dlc before almost finishing the main game
Hmmmm dunno about Midir being the hardest. It depends on the build you run against him. If you run strength then yeah it'll be very difficult, but I think that Gael stands better as the harder boss.
@@crackededge9351 Always using Strength build. In DS3 I used Dragonslayer's Greataxe with Havel Armor. Ring of Havel, Ring of Favor, Prisoner's Chain and Estus Ring were my rings.

Yeah, they’re bugging. I was like a level 90 paladin and he was still two-shotting me back in the day. Total BS mini boss. Ended up cheesing him with magic my first play through.
You didn't fight Lud and Zallen in Ivory King DLC then it's a Duo Boss much more difficult then Fume Knight also it's implied in Lore that the Burnt Ivory King could have his Pets with him when you go to fight him so imagine that as well.
Maneaters are a slight challenge to me, Flamelurker is a nightmare. He's really the only hard boss in the game. Midir took me longer to learn than any other boss in DS3 but once you figure him out there's nothing he can do to surprise you. Sister Friede still kicks my ass every once in a while though, so I'd give her the edge. I'm with you on your choices for all the other games
I did struggle with Maneaters but it’s nowhere near close to Flamelurker. eliminating the 1st Maneater just as the second appear makes the fight a whole lot easier, especially if you’re using pine resin on him. Flamelurker though? Fuck.
Ludwig the holy blade is a way difficult than orphan (and i think it's more difficult than some others). He's too unpredictable, especially in the 1st phase. Orphan of khos took like 4-5 times to get how to beat
Idk how you beat orphan that easily ludwig is hard but i think you just need to strategise with him with orphan hes completely unpredictable and hard no matter what your build
Friede is much harder than midir because of the complexity of her moveset. To dodge all of Friede you have to be perfect, but when fighting midir you only need to be OK for a prolonged period of time.
Yeah but the first two phases are trivialized by decent party timing and status effect use on ariendel. Her third phase is only really hard if you have a slow weapon.with a straight sword or dagger you can be really aggressive.
Lawrence in my first gameplay was the hardest one. There are just so many ways to make Orphan of Kos easier. Lawrence is big but just as fast as a regular boss.
Lawrence had a really simple cheese to him sadly that literally required a simple run from corner to opposite corner in the church/chapel. Fighting him normally though... good lord I still haven’t beat him all these years later without cheese.

I took 30 mins to kill Artorias on my first playthrough of DS1 with a +10 Claymore because I was under-leveled. I pushed on anyways and beat Manus first try. Also, Kalameet was really hard too so Idk about Manus being called the hardest.
If you found artorias harder then manus that's fine since they're fairly close in difficulty however artorias should always be a much quicker fight then manus. You probably was only attacking artorias during a few of his openings rather then all of them. Artorias is the only dark souls 1 boss where you have to weave your attacks in between his combos whereas all the other bosses including manus you can just wait till after a combo or heavy attack from the boss to get your chance to attack. If you're attacking artorias during all of his openings it's a very fast fight fight you are meant to be rolling into him on almost all of his attacks so that you can get a hit in-between all of his attacks. I've beaten artorias on a level 1 account on NG6. Manus is the hardest as a level 1 because the fight is so long and any hit kills you. Manuses attacks are slower and easier to read artorias' attacks are faster but he has less health and more openings.
Honestly Fume Knight had me stuck fighting him for like 5 days i wanna say. He was incredibly difficult just bc of this one almost undodgable attack that he has. I think its like a lazer i forgot now tho but it always killed me

Honestly I think Maliketh is harder than Melenia. The whole time I was thinking "WHEN THE FUCK DO I GET A CHANCE TO ATTACK?!"
If you position yourself right, many of malikeths attacks will miss you, so theres a decent bit of openings for attacks.
Maliketh is hard but is fair, malenia is like if i asked you right now to beat 10 marine soldiers equipped with m-16s (you have a knife)
