    Cs racing full exhaust $ 680. Takes 3 months to get but cheapest full exhaust that’s pretty sweet looking.

    Quality information. Could maybe ask around at bike meets for other riders' aftermarket exhaust sound tests. Haha

      Awesome!! Thanks for the sub! :D
      Like I said in the video, each of the exhausts have their own pros and cons. Personally, I definitely recommend going with a more expensive exhaust. I love my Yoshi R-77 with the baffle removed, but it really depends on what you are looking for in an exhaust. If you buy any high-grade exhaust like Yoshi, Twobros, or Akropov, I can pretty much guarantee you will be happy with what you get. They each improve every aspect of the bike but of course, they do come at a premium price. If you are looking for something less expensive I think the Coffman Shorty exhaust is a good alternative. Just keep in mind that the Coffman will greatly reduce back pressure and you might end up looking at getting your bike re-tuned or a Power Commander somewhere down the line.
      At the end of the day, just get whatever you like the most. They all sound great, they all look great. It's mostly up to personal preference.
      Enjoy your new bike and ride safe! :)

    I have half a mind to grab one of those Leovince dual exhaust slip ons for my 500r, mostly for the look really. I really like that dual exhaust look.

    Dan moto exhausts sound good on these. They never sound as good as a big inline 4 but a big improvement over stock. Best bike I've ever had on fuel under 3 litres per 100 ks

    Hey 2wheels when you got your yoshimura exhaust you installed it your self? And did you do a "map configuration" or whatever do they call it to your bike?

    Wow! This vid is awesome bro...what do you think of Leo Vince exhaust and Voodoo exhaust?

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Leo Vince is definitely one of the best exhausts out there in my opinion, right up there with Akrapovic and Yoshi. You should check out Motonositys video on his R6 Leo Vince full system, the thing is really a work of art. Voodoo I'm not very familiar with, but they seem to be a cheaper alternative primarily focused on sound and not performance. That being said, I know voodoo does make "Performance exhausts" along with their Shorty exhausts, but I have never seen anyone running one of their performance exhausts, it's always a Voodoo shorty.
      Hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)

    Best exhaust is the coffman slip on, also the loudest. Dont remove baffle tho cause its way to loud and the low end torque feels weak.

      I actually do agree with you, however, I never dropped my bike amazingly. But I do agree that should be the first mod for a lot of people

    I have a CBR500 also. (2014). Now that I have had it for a while, I am looking at some upgrades here and there. Exhaust is next on my list. This video was very helpful. I haven't had the opportunity to hear any of these products on a bike like my own in person. I hope that they will still purr (or at least putt) at the lower rpms as not to wake up all the neighbors if I leave for work at 5am. But, I also want a much meatier sound when I start really opening it up. Is that unreasonable to ask for? But, I'm really getting off track here. My main question was actually: Going back over the short spectrum of sound to performance that you discussed, do any of these top products have any significant effect on fuel mileage? If so, how so?

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any slip-on exhaust shouldn't have much effect on your gas mileage if at all. I don't notice any difference in my MPG with my Yoshi slip-on. The thing that would most likely change the MPG would be a full system and a tune for maximum performance. However, that doesn't really sound like something you are looking for since it would be a good bit louder as well.
      For the kind of exhaust you are looking for, I think any slip-on will do just fine. They all will add a significant change in sound when you open it up and not be too loud while in lower RPMs. One thing to note on the CBR500R is to make sure you check that the exhaust is for your year of motorcycle. Despite what some lower grade manufacturers (I'm talking about Hotbodies exhaust) will say, there is a difference in exhaust fit between 2015 and 2016, so make sure you get the model that will fit your bike.
      I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. Ride safe! :)

    Amazing sound!!
    What about a Delkevic exhaust? Do you think it would be a good idea?

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Delkevic is a good option for the price I think. They definitely sound good and the build quality seems to be ok. The only thing i'd say is don't expect to get any power gains from it, but besides that, I think it is a good exhaust for the money. I don't know where they are made though, so that is something I would look into. I'm not a big fan of buying exhaust's from china

    • @Andres-vo5tl
      @Andres-vo5tl 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      2Wheel Pursuit thanks for the answer! Yup I agree with you, I was in fact reading a little and it appears they are an american company so I think it should be good enough, do you think sound varies between carbon and steel exhausts?

  • @sahmedt9

    Are you talking about the slip on or full systems? I heard you need to tweak your bike as it'll be running lean or something Fter a full. Exhaust.

  • @2WCapo
    @2WCapo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Completely agree, been running a LeoVince slip on for my CB500F and while it was loud sounded and looked cheap on the bike. Recently upgraded to a Yoshi R77 and it sounds cleaner, deeper, and also looks 200% nicer than the LV. Expensive yes but it made the whole bike look and sound higher quality.

    what about M4's? u forgot to talk about M4's and what the M4 is capable of?

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct. The reason I didn't go into detail too much about M4 is because I don't know as much about them since their exhausts aren't very popular where I live(Not sure why). But I do consider them a Top Tier exhaust manufacturer. If I were to get a Suzuki or a Kawasaki I have no doubt that I would get an M4 GP exhaust. They seem to be very loud with better build quality than TwoBros, just not quite as popular. I have heard them in real life on a GSXR 750 and let me tell you, they scream!
      They are one of the best sounding exhausts in my opinion. However, I cannot comment on the effect they have on the power since I haven't gotten a chance to ride with one of them.

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe that was me downshifting. Completely normal to hear a sound like that, you are hearing the shifting, as well as probably the chain hitting the swingarm. It was a bit loose at this time I think

    Is coffman best for high bass?

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think Two Bros gives the highest bass. Coffman is probably the loudest with the baffle removed though. Basically a straight pipe almost.

    Now get your ecu flashed. It'll be night and day performance. It'll wake that bike up

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You think it will really help? I've heard mixed opinions from people, some say that it will help and some say don't do it cause it's a waste of money for such a small bike. What kind of ECU flash do you recommend?

    • @PVo-1111
      @PVo-1111 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2Wheel Pursuit its usually around $200. Cheapest and best upgrade you can get. Find the nearest performance shop with good reputation and let them tune the bike with your setup on a dyno. Flash that onto your ecu specific to your bike. Don't just send in your ecu unless they already have a cbr500 with slip on flash. I would get a performance air filter first before I do it.

    • @PVo-1111
      @PVo-1111 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2Wheel Pursuit only downside for me is your mpg will dive lol. But well worth it. I've had it on all my bikes from 250, 300, 600,700,1000 and 1200. I've been happy with all of them.

    • @2WheelPursuit
      @2WheelPursuit  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow thats a lot of bikes, I see you are speaking from experience! This is definitely something I will look into more. I'm glad you brought it to my attention since I had kind of put it off as a useless mod to my bike that I probably wouldn't do, but from what you are saying now I will definitely look into it! Do you strongly recommend having the ECU flashed over buying a power commander?

    • @PVo-1111
      @PVo-1111 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2Wheel Pursuit you can still do power commander with flash if you want but its not needed if you finish your mods then tune your bike to your specific mods. I don't use power commander at all and those are expensive. The flash gets rid of a lot of restrictions that factory puts onto it. You will enjoy the sound too when its not running lean.
