I bought a 2012 model a month ago...removed the baffles (using a 35mm hole drill) and also removed the snorkel from the airbox. The improvement was quite noticeable. I love this bike more than any other that I've owned!
I wonder if the engineers at Triumph saw this video and paid attention to your comment about hiding the ugly fuel injection stuff? I have one of the new water cooled Bonnevilles, where the FI components are disguised as "carbies"!
@@silviofontana3666 People usually modify their exhaust silencers for better sound, not necessarily power; I never said anything about going faster, so not sure where your comment is coming from.
She's a beauty, I have that model , that year. Love it. Current 2023 retro bikes do not come close.

can never understand why people modify a new bike, if you want it to go faster, respond more quickly, perhaps you may be on the wrong bike.

Does it have catalytic converters in the mufflers? Or none at all this early in the model range?
Got a W650 with 50K. WOuld like to change it to an 800. Wonder if it can be done.
