Looking for Moose Antlers

Shed hunting for moose antlers in Alaska. Shed hunting is a great way to scout for new hunting areas and learn about moose habitat. Every year I find a few, this year I found a nice matching set.

Bringing along the ones with the great noses is the best idea. That wolf track was huge! Perspective changes everything when looking for anything in the snow. You walked past the shed because of perspective. Maybe it was completely covered with snow then. Great video, as usual. Skal

Where can a person shed hunt in Kenai area? Plan to be there in June. Great video btw!

Try Skilak area. But anywhere you see moose.

Likely, by June, the sheds will all be chewed up by the small mammals. Great source of minerals and protein for them. Good luck. Skal
