FEBRU-DERE DAY 7! My first centaur girl audio, baby! This great yandere roleplay script was brought to my attention months ago by its writer, and I only got around to it now! (Sorry, Sharnadale! 🤗) After revisiting lamia, dragon and neko girls already this month, I thought it was time for a fresh spin on the monster girl genre, so, here we are! Haha, it sounds more glamorous than it is; really I just converted what amounts to a closet into a little recording area and did some very lazy acoustic adjustments with wall tapestries and such. Eventually I'll set up proper office with soundproofing and stuff, but that upgrade will have to wait awhile. But when I do, look out! I'll be unstoppable!

This was a refreshing take on the genre and very well written and voiced. The similar backstories, the lack of anyone close, it all makes their bond (at least for her) seem very believable.

Whenever I think of centaurs, I think of Piers Anthony's Xanth, or another book where Centaurs were a bit...heated, as it were.

I had to laugh at the whole bathing portion, because I would probably be shy too. At least I would feel comfortable around her and would have agreed to stay. Overall that was brilliantly done.

It appears that centaurs have six limbs. Can they be classified as insects, then? Life's great questions.
They would still be classified as mammalian due to possession of hair and (presumably) nipples, and lack of antennae, a segmented body (specifically 3 segments for insects), chitinous exoskeleton, and open circulatory system (they don't "breathe" like we do, and their "heart" and blood works different). Granted, the exoskeleton and respiratory functions are speculative; maybe the centaur *does* have hard armor plating that merely mimics the appearance of skin, and sustaining such a large bioform through the respiratory and pulmonary systems of a normal human would be impractical at best due to the single intake point. However, since a horse also uses respiration with a closed circulatory system, it's unlikely they would adapt a system so radically different. Instead I would posit the horse part probably has an additional port specialized for just breathing, which might cover the gas exchange requirements for the full body, which would mean a centaur would only ever need to exhale out of the human mouth for speech.
TL;DR, /unjoke no, but they're pushing the definition of "mammal" out about as far as marsupials do, so centaurs are probably not "true mammals" either.
There are a myriad of more interesting biological questions regarding centaurs than just classifying them. How many calories do they eat in a day? What do their guts look like? Are "the bits" in the front or the back (my money is on back)?

It's been covered a few times, yeah! I was only able to find like four other versions, though, which is on the low side for one of the public scripts I pick 😅
As far as yanderes go, she's one of the gentler ones. No threats, no violence. Maybe a tad rough around the edges but that's to be expected due to her loveless upbringing and prolonged loneliness. She's taken him in, fed him, showed him where to bathe, and washed his clothes. She's even let him ride her, something that centaurs almost never do. He'd most likely die of exposure and starvation, or become a rather lean meal for for a predator without her help. So ironically enough, his best choice is staying with her.

Oh...reading hat title I'm remembering a different centaur audio, one where the listener was just not happy with staying and she forced it upon them and has this part where she dreamed of a scene where the listener's either dead or wish they're dead because their eyeballs already rotted out and the centaur still takes care and tries to feed whatever is left on that bed, in no way am I saying that that was a bad audio, in fact I give a kudos to the va for building up that atmosphere but it really got me and now I hesitate at any centaur audio
Amazing. I'm a huge fan of this script and you gave it perfect pacing and very good mood, though damn it's a lengthy one. Also I kinda hate it's the unwilling listener type (though I guess it can still change, cause I think the story is still being continued).

If you are such an amazing actress. I really enjoyed this one. I loved a little bit where she was talking to him by he slept. I love how her insecurity call my innocence and vulnerability came out several times during this one.. I hate that she had to tie him up at the end, comma but I really love this audio. Great job.

You really outdid yourself on the acting and realism this time! This was easily your most immersive, investing, and interesting work thus far! The length certainly helped, but it was more the way you went about your work; the entire thing sounded completely natural and normal. You're truly something else!
Aw, thank you! This was a tough one to record because I've just been totally wiped out lately, and it was a super long script besides, so it's gratifying/relieving/nice to hear that I still hit the mark even though I felt so terrible! (Maybe the exhaustion even helped with the realism because I was more subdued and natural sounding 😆)

The script was actually going to be something along the lines of a really sweet dragon who gradually turns yandere for the listener, but then you immediately did that fantastic dragon audio, so I'll see what else else I might have up my sleeve, lol. It was funny timing!

I missed the last premiere (boo) but made this one (yay) and I'm very glad I did. This was so interesting! The pace was very different to what I'm used to, but I thought that, plus the extra length, let this audio do some not so typical things, and they really paid off. I really enjoyed getting to see more of the process of becoming Yandere (for want of a better term) happening in real-time, I thought that was very well done and very plausible. I liked the glimpses we saw of both characters, well, character and background, I thought that was an interesting touch, and really important given how important their parallels and the idea of fate would be to the conclusion. (Also R.I.P Brother Centaur, we hardly knew ye. All kidding aside, I pretty much raised my sisters, so I'm always a sucker for those kind of big brother characters, even when they they only appear by influence. Awful Centaur Parents, on the other hand, like superstitious villagers, can go kick rocks. Or dynamite, whatever they run into first.)
I thought her monologue while Listener was sleeping was especially fascinating and really great voice work by you, as usual. I really liked the way her tone went from sort of defensive and guarded to kind of annoyed at herself for possibly liking Listener to almost playful, but without losing that certain toughness. Short version, this was great, thanks so much for the hard work and for sharing!
P.S. Congrats on the new home set-up, I hope it is all to your liking and fwiw, the audio sounded very crisp and clear to me. :)

Sometimes the listeners in these stories baffle me literally lost his entire family and cast out then saved and cared for by a beautiful centaur woman that wants to be with you and then runs away like she’s crazy did they get dropped on their heads 🤣
To be fair, not everyone likes to be kidnapped! 😆 (Also, I think the reluctance is part of the fantasy for some listeners. I do so many "Willing Listener" yandere audios that I'm sure doing one where the character is less okay with it is a nice change of pace for some folks!)

I found out one thing about these AR videos. When you listen to one of them, Your brain automatically creates an animation and plays it as you're listening to it. So in short words, I just watched a short film with an interesting story. Ven did well on this one. The guy really wanted to leave huh? I mean where would you go cause this time, You don't even have a family nor a house NOR food.

As a side note the listener is kind of a jerk; he’s got no home to go back to and this girl wants to be his hero, but he’s rejecting her because she has too many legs…. Another very cute audio and a nice counterpart to your lonely dragon asmr. Both are rather sweet monster girls hiding behind a tough exterior. Yet both are wonderfully different and distinct despite that similarity. Beyond being more "down to earth", the Centaur has a much more well motherly quality to her character being motivated as much by the Listener's wellbeing as her loneliness. Hearing her thoughts about the listener, wondering how he'd react if she touched his sleeping form, adds an extra layer of vulnerability, in my eyes, to her character.
And congrats on the new studio set-up. I didn't notice anything amiss with this recording, the same high-quality audio as always.

This poor woman. The listener is awfully skittish, which I get, but they really need to just think it through and listen to her. I think that they'll warm up to each other in time and there will fierce cuddles and make outs.

You know, yanderes get alot of the blame in these stories but honestly the darlings are usually really stupid and cant read the room.
She has a bow and is faster than you, she hasnt killed you yet so why run?
I know if every listener insert was smart and could act in the best way there would be way less drama to enjoy and character growth/depth but honestly it gets annoying just how dumb they are.
At this rate they've surpassed the dense harem MC and that's saying something.
However even the most unbearable listener inserts cant keep me away fro your amazing content, you honestly hit it out of the park Vanilla~

Question, what is the art you chose for the thumbnail? I feel like centaurs are not easy to find so you used a archer because of the sagitarius. Not gonna lie, it took me a long time to realise she doens't show horse parts in the thumbnail
You're right that centaurs are hard to find! There are a few male centaur stock images out there, but lady centaurs are basically nonexistent, so I had to get creative! I picked out a nice elf with a wilderness-y huntress theme to get the vibe across. (You're right that I was thinking sagittarius!) I think it worked pretty well, actually!
