For Me, it can't defeat the feel of the first time I entered the last bowser level...and I wasn't even aware of it at the time because I was 5.

Replaying 64 in 3d All Stars and damn...DS graphics were impressive, i had a lot of fun with it back when i was a kid. I wonder why people dislike this version.

Well if remember correctly. You move with a frickin stylus. And it was just horrible. and each character can only do 1 power up . You have to switch characters if you wanted to say fly or go metal

As far as I remember, in each Bowser Level you basically fight Bowser where you just simply try to grab Bowser by his Tail and then usually try to toss him into the closest Spiked Bomb.

I think it’s in both his second and final fight, maybe even the first. If you go too far away from Bowser, he charges you.

I guess that if the Bowser Battles are like a Game of Basketball, if you toss Bowser into the closest Spiked Bomb that is equivalent to getting 2 Points and if you toss Bowser into the farthest Spiked Bomb, that is most likely equivalent to making a 3-Pointer.
Bowser looked and walked better in the N64 version.

I dunno, I always thought it looked kinda silly for him to be rainbow. I like DS Bowser better honestly.
People have gripes with it cause of the controls, but I found it easy to pick up and play (This was my first Mario game tho, so take that as you wish.) The touch screen control I only really used for throwing Bowser cause it was jarring to do it on the dpad. Might get a copy of Amazon to relive those memories. Get back to me on that.

The final boss is the hardest battle I ever played
I love this game and it's pretty difficult to get 100% but I was able to at least
I feel like the ds bowser in 64 is harder to beat than the one in the original. The range on the exploding spike balls is smaller, bowser seems to turn a bit more, and some other things.
Anyone else disappointed that Rainbow Bowser isn't what we fight in the final battle?

Siempre sentí que 64 DS está bastante infravalorado, subestimado y olvidado. Siempre que se habla de Mario 64 es sobre el original de N64 y es el que mas ports recibe, pero 64 DS merece más amor y que sea porteado también y reciba un remaster HD para la Switch

I'm bummed Nintendo didn't give Bowser a rainbow effect for SM64DS like they did with the OG game. I guess they never noticed that effect when remaking the game.
Its crazy to belive that the voice of Bowser in Super Mario 64 & 64 Ds is Charles Martinet (voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi from 1991-2023)

@Jack Smith In Mario and Luigi's RPG saga, Mario can actually beat Bowser just by jumping on it's head. It does require a lot of jumps tho
@Jack Smith Mario is always shown to be very strong but Bowser is a powerhouse that can destroy lunar stone just by punching so I doubt Mario can overpower him while he's charging

@@ricardogonzalez-qm2dh no, its so long king bowser, people just got the word wrong because it sounds more like *gay* than *king* but nintendo even said it was suppose to say so long king bowser i think, but everyone rephrased it and it turned into such a big meme, the DS version was a remake kinda of the shindou version of mario 64 made in 1997 i think, considering it has no backward's long jump, and no "so long gay bowser" also, the shindou version is the version used in super mario all stars, and apparently every mario version is based off the shindou version

I wonder why, when you get 80 stars you get to battle bowser for the last time before you unlock the Princess, but why can't you shoot him the third time like up floating, flying so it can get to the bomb, instead it slides on the star platform and then falls off so i guess you HAVE to have 150 stars so you can beat him the final time, right?

The bottom of this level with the music was always creepy. I miss how Mario games used to have a dark feeling to a lot of the levels. They don’t do that so much anymore.
Which one of them. The Sky was really fun but hard, Fire Sea is essentially Lethal Lava Land Part 2 and Dark World was meh
