I JUST started going to raves, and just adore the whole scene. Growing up, I never really made bracelets or worked with beads, so I was nervous but wanted to try making kandi charms. I’m happy I found your tutorial- I followed along (slower cuz I don’t have needles or anything 🤣) and I swapped the black beads for a transparent purple. It needn’t worry tho, he came out absolutely peeeerfect! Thanks for uploading, I’m glad to have found your channel!! ✨ 💚💜💚💜
Hey cyber if you click on the video and you see those three dots you can click on it and you go to the playback speed and you can slow the video down to the pace that works for you happy beading 🥳
Your welcome! You can adjust the playback speed click the 3 dots in the corner of the video it might help for future tutorials. I have some kandi tips here th-cam.com/play/PLYZ3dVQbjMFObJSGXaEh_wfj_s22MqrBV.html
thank you very helpful tutorial! I have one quesition- how to you make it so that you dont see the string? I used the same kind of string you did but I can still see it very easy and it doesnt look super good.
I don't measure my string also your length will vary depending on the type you are using. Non stretch or elastic string. Kandi is a free style craft. Get in the groove and create!
Kandi Toybox beaded tutorials I use the stretchy kind that’s kinda slippy, I’m scared if I tie it everything will fall out- but! I did find a solution and I’m still going so hooray! :)
I free style my kandi and don't usually give measurements. Also It depends on the type of string you use. Use your best judgement you can always tie on more if you run out.
These style tutorials are not for beginners. This is more advanced. Check out my beginners playlist once you get more comfortable trying other tutorials come back to this one. This is a skill set that takes practice.
theres 47 green beads and 12 black beads, in case this helps anyone else
Thank you
THANK UU

Welcome to the rave/kandi community🤗 So happy you found me and are trying out some of these kandi tutorials! Happy creating 💕 Much love P.L.U.R ✌
"Lets see them Aliens"
usually its easy to follow your videos but this one was really fast paced and confused me alot
I am working on slowing the pace down in my future videos. Bare with me as I learn the ropes here on TH-cam.
Hey cyber if you click on the video and you see those three dots you can click on it and you go to the playback speed and you can slow the video down to the pace that works for you happy beading 🥳
Just make the speed 0.75, that’s what I do sometimes
You can slow it down by clicking the 3 dots on the video and click playback speed
Great tutorial :) I used this to make a spider man for my little cousin who LOVES spider man. I made it into a tiny necklace for him!
Awesome 💖
I did it on my first try. This tutorial was amazing and easy to follow.
Could you do a Kandi Kermit tutorial? :D
Sure! I will add it to the list😊
@@kanditoyboxbeadedtutorials okay! c;
3:14 just remembering where I left off
my ruler doesn't have a medium size string spot
Eye ball it yo
I made it I was just being a smart ass
That is so funny same bro I did the hole thing but on the last row I ran out of string I was so mad
THANKS!! YOU ARE THE LITERAL BEST!! ( THIS LOOKS SO GOOD AS A CHARM ON A KANDI NECKLACE ) ❤️❤️
Awesome! I'm so happy you love it 👽
i've been trying to watch this nine minute video for an hour and im having a brain aneurysm but it's cute af LOL
Did you try adjusting the playback speed... 3 dots in the corner of the video.
This looks so cool and I can’t wait to try it I also did make your Batman symbol and that was a lot of fun all I used was fishing line and the beads 🥳
Awesome!
aw i used too little string :/ i wish this was more specific on string measurement
You can tie on more
doing this with no needle is not for the weak
Where was this when i was in the sixth grade!??? I loved making Kandi
Thank you! Great tutorial
omggg were did you get your beads????? btw i loved this tut!!!!!
Thank you! These are the beadery brand, but I love all beads!
I made one without a needle and blue instead of green and an chrome black i got frustrated a couple times but it turned out great!!
Glad you made it through! Those sound like awesome color combinations 👽
Thank you so much! I must admit I had to redo it like 5 times haha but I finally got it! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! It looks amazing 🖤🖤
this looks so fun i’m gonna make it for my friend and my dad thank you
Never have I seen people make this specific Kandi with a lighter at the end, what was its purpose?
So the ends don't fray. Please don't use a lighter.
could you use this as a charm for a harness??
Yes
I don’t have any black what colors do I use or white? I don’t have any white or black.
Any color will work. Pink, glow, clear maybe?
This is the second tutorial of yours that I’ve followed today :)
Awesome thank you💚
it looks so frickin cool
Awesome!
You actually do not need a lighter it’s just to make it secure
How big is a “ Medium sized piece of string” 😂 give exact dimensions please how long.
1 or 2 feet you can tie more on if needed. The length depends on the type of string you are using.
do you know about how many beads this takes? i’m low on beads and don’t want to not be able to finish half way through
49 green I believe
@@kanditoyboxbeadedtutorials thank you!
3:08 just remember it
thank you very helpful tutorial! I have one quesition- how to you make it so that you dont see the string? I used the same kind of string you did but I can still see it very easy and it doesnt look super good.
Make it super tight as you make it you might need a thinner string 1mm.
Ok thanks!
@@tacolord6764 no problem!
This was so fast 😅 "medium amount of string" is also really ambiguous. I had to add string 3 times
I would recommend starting with 2 feet of string. The length depends on the type of string you are using. It can vary a lot.
Maybe be more specific than “Medium sized piece of string” ?
I don't measure my string also your length will vary depending on the type you are using. Non stretch or elastic string. Kandi is a free style craft. Get in the groove and create!
I SPENT 3 HOURS ON THIS, ITS LOP-SIDED, AND I CAN'T TIE IT OFF CUS THE STRING IS ON THE OTHER SIDE.....WHYYYYYYYYYY
You must have missed a step. Try again. You got this!
I keep running out of space at 4:03 ;-; I’m gonna try to tie it off and hope it works
Tie on more string you got this!
Kandi Toybox beaded tutorials I use the stretchy kind that’s kinda slippy, I’m scared if I tie it everything will fall out- but! I did find a solution and I’m still going so hooray! :)
Is there a way to do it without the lighter? I’m scared of fire lol
Yes you don't have to use one. It's so the ends of the string don't fray.
5:06 just remebering lol
Where do you buy those rainbow bead buckets?
th-cam.com/play/PLYZ3dVQbjMFObJSGXaEh_wfj_s22MqrBV.html
@@kanditoyboxbeadedtutorials Thank you!
I made a sally face version of this
Yesss I love that idea! So creative keep it going!
If we're running out of string to go through the beads (I'm at 3:12) can I switch up and use the other string to continue down the alien?
I would tie some on to the string you are working with. Later you will need the other piece to finish the top part.
@@kanditoyboxbeadedtutorials oh okie
you guys if its too fast, theres this wonderful thing called pausing and rewinding
Thank you so much 🥺🥺🥺💚💚💚 I love my Kandi alien ♥️♥️♥️
YAY! Your so welcome💚💚💚
Altered it and made it have kitty ears:3
Cool idea!
What knot do you use?
Cloth covered elastic 1.5 mm

How do you keep the string from twisting at the beggining
Pull it tight
@@kanditoyboxbeadedtutorials muchh love thank you
Is that elastic string?
Yes! You can use whatever string you have on hand tho.
Thx, ima make like 10 of em
YOU ARE SO HELPFUL tysm😄😄😄😄😄😄😁❤
My string kept running out it seems like you have infinite string here 😭
No worries tie more on or start over with a larger amount. I always add more if needed.
You don’t specify how long the string needs to be
I free style my kandi and don't usually give measurements. Also It depends on the type of string you use. Use your best judgement you can always tie on more if you run out.
Kandi Toybox beaded tutorials thank you
how do i make this smaller?
add about five or seven rows for the first part
Use perler beads or mini pony beads!
if u r looking for help in a comment and u a beginner I suggest u watch the video before making
what’s the point in the lighter?? i’m a beginner and i am very confused
Its so the ends of the string don't fray. Its optional tho
fast and simple, I like it 🤭✌
Thanks!
Yaaassss ♥️♥️♥️♥️👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but this isn’t the greatest tutorial❤ especially for a beginner

I love your tutorials but I found this one super hard to follow. Lmao. Maybe I’m slow but you move super fast 🥲
This was an earlier tutorial. You can adjust the playback speed if that helps.
