+Sophie sullivan I'd be fascinated to see a scene between Sansa and Jon, and I suspect she would have had some contempt for him, but probably nowhere near like Catelyn. Although she'd likely be more subtle. I imagine every conversation of theirs to be filled with awkward silences and as they miserably fail to make small talk.
Tywin pats himself on the back for saving 10,000 men but I think the Lanisters will lose that and more in the long run for the manner in which it was done.
Jack Stephenson That is a stupid comeback, considering the fact that the South got their asses whooped in battle. It's the treacherous fellow northerners who fucked it all up ..
0:01 to 3:20 = The Starks during happier peaceful times :) The one good decent incorruptible family in all of Westeros, heartbreaking to see them forced to endure all kinds of trauma & chaos each season :(
This fits so well... this moment of the first episode when everything was good, everyone was alive and young. The fans and the Starks most likely wish they were forever that young, in those happy moments.
When I miss Stark's family, I just watch the whole Season 1 episode 1. GOT is about families and Stark's house is just ordinary family like ours, the happiest time is when we all in one roof, mom and dad with kids. We all are all just young and playful teasing each other and the rest is history.
Beautifully made. Great choice of music with these clips, as the music really brings out the poignancy in the performances. Michelle Fairley and Sean Bean - how they didn't get awards for this I don't know.
Actually 4 because even though Jon father is Rheagar, his mom is Leanna who is a Stark, so Jon still have Stark blood. That is why Ned said to him that he might not have his name but he has his blood.
What unites people? Armies? Gold? Flags? Stories. There's nothing more powerful than a good story. Nothing can stop it. No enemy can defeat it. Long may they reign.
There are many Starks left, they are just all displaced. Arya, Rickon, Bran, Sansa, Jon (kinda) and Benjen (kinda). The war and red wedding only killed off the parents and one son.
@@donnalouise1981 If it wasn't for Theon, Sansa would've remained a prisoner of Ramsay not to mention that he returned to fight for his adopted family House Stark against The Army of The Dead and gave his life to protect Bran. Yeah Theon messed up a whole lot when he betrayed Robb but he did so not outta pure malice but outta a desparate vain attempt to win his father Balon's approval. At least Theon redeemed himself in the end and earned the forgiveness of both Jon & Sansa.
I love a complicity between Robb and his Mother. The best family and powerfull in The show, they are dead (not all). robb, The young Wolf, defeat Tywin and The army of Lannister ... But he Die, because he is so naif and loyal. The code of honnor is no good in GOT ... :(
+Florian Busch I think people are very hard on Robb and forget that after all he was only a boy of 14 with a huge weigh on his shoulders. I mean, he had to lead an army to war and earn the respect of older people, I love how in the books Bran and Cat describe the many times he is about to cry but pretends he isn't or starts acting as "the brother" or the "teenager" he is, to then suddenly change it to "the lord" of Winterfield face, like Cat said he has grown soo fast, and after all he did a good job that eventually lost it thanks to something really silly. Unfortunately this is how the real world works, he reminds me of my first job when I had to "coordinate" some guys, if you are not respectful and even hard with them they eat you, fortunately the biggest consequence here is to lose your job not to get killed :)
+fanyrf8 it wasn't just the broken promise tho. a series of bad decisions led to his inevitable demise. Killing karstark, withholding his plans from edmure tully, allowing theon to return home, breaking the frey pact. Maybe the worst of all was sending theon to Pyke, although I don't remember if Balon Greyjoy had been planning to attack the north before that. Still, under theon's command, winterfell was taken and the starks lost their seat of power. Losing frey and karstark crippled robb, and the likes of roose bolton quickly lost interest in the war and began planning with tywin to end the rebellion. Robb won every battle, but he lost the war off the battlefield. The Red Wedding was merely the quickest way to destroy and scatter what remained of the stark forces and loyalists. Moral of the story, listen to your mother :)
Can someone tell me if people(in books, it isn´t in tv show)recognise unfair death of Eddard? That he told the truth? In show "everyone" seems to call blonde kids(Jofrey, Tommen) bastards and knowing they have no right to be kings. It was Stannis who made this so known? I always get angry when seeing him dying not only unfairly but without any honor and these idiots calling him traitor...
most of the people in the books when they talk about eddard is that he was an honorable and loyal Lord, most of the people still don't know the whole truth behind eddards execution..but after the red wedding, the north str8 up knew that the starks where played and beat
the kings landing mob watching Ned's beheading where just rats, whores and rapists watching not human beings. in the books the kings landing mob that threw pig shit at joffery str8 on raped a noble lady names lolly, gave her a rape baby too..the civilians in kings landing are rats not ppl...fuck kings landing, the tv shows doesn't make them seem that evil but there described disgusting as fuck..the city is said to smell of piss and shit
+Trissana281 Well we don't know if Eddard is actually dead or not. The whole scene in the books for cloudy at best. Since Arya's point of view is all we get and it doesn't stress if it actually Eddard being beheaded. Plus in the books Sansa doesn't recognize what is supposed to be 'Eddard's' head. It's far fetched I know but I'd like to believe that Eddard is alive somewhere by Vary's doing.
They all died ! It's so sad! Of course Snow is in some Way a member of the Stark Family. By the way... He isn't even the Bastard of Ned Stark! He ist the Bastard of his Sister Lyanna Stark and the King who ruled in the other days
The relationship between the Starks are the best moments in Game of Thrones.
We are the Starks. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.
Anybody else's heart do a jump at the look Jon gave Arya when she curtseys and runs, would of loved to have Seen more sibling scenes between them.
Oh I could definitely see that, especially with how highly Sansa seemed to think herself while preparing to leave for Kings Landing in season 1.
I love the way the were when they were young. How they really portrayed how siblings really are in real life
the best family of the show
its so sad that most of them died
Martina Mihail The only family with a healthy relationship between family members in Westeros. Such a rarity ..
+Siran424 mmh jon and catelyn? Relation ship could be better .... Tyrells have a really good Relation ship as you can see in season 5
+Siran424 Till now!😂
+Ida Aspenes (IdaMeh) and benjen too
I dont know if Benjen can be count as "living" :)
I'm so emotional right now watching this.
Bran was so innocent and the cutest kid ever
What about Rickon?
"Leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe"
I used to believe nothing could happen to a family that would tear them apart.... but then I met the Starks
The North will never forget!
Tywin pats himself on the back for saving 10,000 men but I think the Lanisters will lose that and more in the long run for the manner in which it was done.
Good let them remember what happens when they march on the south
Jack Stephenson That is a stupid comeback, considering the fact that the South got their asses whooped in battle. It's the treacherous fellow northerners who fucked it all up ..
this makes me so emotional... there are actual tears on my face. i'm not ok.
Roose Bolton approves of this video.
Here's to the young wolf - forever young.
0:01 to 3:20 = The Starks during happier peaceful times :)

A whisper to all...
Winter is Coming.
Beautifully made. Great choice of music with these clips, as the music really brings out the poignancy in the performances.
Michelle Fairley and Sean Bean - how they didn't get awards for this I don't know.
If only he didn't climb that wall....
If only Littlefinger wouldn’t send that letter...
If Ned didn't went south...
Why do you think I came all this way?
Brings back memories :'( those times when they were still a happy family.. I cried a little :(
THIRSTY FOR GOT. I NEED S7 AHHHHH
I cried whole watching this . The start of the first Season was so peacfull
They're by far the best family and there's only 3 of them left :( I'm literally crying
Actually 4 because even though Jon father is Rheagar, his mom is Leanna who is a Stark, so Jon still have Stark blood. That is why Ned said to him that he might not have his name but he has his blood.
The death scene of Ned still breaks my heart
The true tragedy is most of the children were forever, young
What unites people?
Armies? Gold? Flags?
Stories.
There's nothing more powerful than a good story.
Nothing can stop it.
No enemy can defeat it.
Long may they reign.
The Union
I cry whenever I think about the Starks 😭😭😭
Poor Stark´s, thanks for this awesome video
The Northeners will never forget
Walder Frey: Long live the young wolf!
Roose Bolton: Forever young... *evil* *smile*
All the tears.....they're falling down my face. Great job
There are many Starks left, they are just all displaced. Arya, Rickon, Bran, Sansa, Jon (kinda) and Benjen (kinda). The war and red wedding only killed off the parents and one son.
Greatest of all time
They’re the best family prove me wrong
Catelyn Stark not including Jon in the description. I wonder why...
Happier times, before everything went to shit.
Ida Aspenes Exactly. lol
Ida Aspenes You are very perceptive.
In an alternate universe, viewers would have tuned in to this very first episode of HBO's The Starks
Wow! Fantastic video! I nearly had to cry😢😢😍
IT'S NOT FAIR THAT THEY DIE ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
They're not all dead!!! Jon, Sansa, Bran & Arya are all still going strong and hopefully they'll all make it to the end still living, Theon as well :)
@@DragonHeart613 fuck Theon
@@donnalouise1981 If it wasn't for Theon, Sansa would've remained a prisoner of Ramsay not to mention that he returned to fight for his adopted family House Stark against The Army of The Dead and gave his life to protect Bran. I thought there was no Jon snow moment then I looked at the name of the channel.
Now it makes sense.
There's no tribute to Starks without Jon! Sorry Catelyn but you need to deal with it! :P
This is so sad, so many of them are dead...
Only Ned, Robb and Rickon
+Jurij Motalović and catelyn

CATELYN STARK I MISS YOU
This hurts so much more after the last episode. My babies will be avenged!
Don't you all just hear Taylor Swift singing "we...are never ever ever...getting back together."
oh my starks :(

+claude bouferka he died cause he broke his promise. i really like robb and he was a good commander. But a bad lord.
+Florian Busch bad politician
